About time we had a consolidated thread to report on sales and to post pics of kops at the HR Outlet, the only brick and mortar discount shop of any value here in Toronto.

I went yesterday to check out the post boxing week sales. Prices were not outstanding, but there was some nice stuff around. Here are my highlights:

- Quite a few Cucinelli reduced all over the place. Some sportcoats as low as 599 for cashmere and a few suits for around 1000. Cotton Trousers were around 125

- Samuelsohn flannel chalkstripe suits in blue and charcoal - 2 for 999

- Boglioli (solid grey and solid navy wool mix herringbone), LBM 1911 and Tombolini sportcoats - 250 - 300

- GG for RLPL now down to 499 with some shopwear; Tramezza's in size 10.5 at 499-599; Zegna Couture Derbys 499; Nice gravati loafers in a shrunken leather at 299 which unfortunately did not fit my high instep

- Drakes wool silk and a few linen squares for 29.99

- Jean Shop Rocker cut jeans for 110

Happy new year and happy shopping

Don't forget about the RLBL's in 38R and 40R in the 600-800 range.

Corneliani suits for $700 after markdown

Brioni dress shirts for $100

Tom Ford dress shirts for $80 (!)

And then there's the ultimate grail: a 100% cashmere Zegna Couture SC for $1400. I'm guessing the price will drop down even more on this.

Good markdowns all around.

40R. But I saw a few Zegna couture blazers floating around. I think you'll find other sizes.

- Samuelsohn flannel chalkstripe suits in blue and charcoal - 2 for 999 $899

There's a $100 kicker that stacks on top of the suit promo.

Also, they have rare Samuelsohn models in stock. I saw a few suits in the rare "Paul" model.

The Paul is a slim fitting drop 7 with strong roping (very British and lean). I wear 38R/39R in the Gable and Ashton, but have to size up to 40R in the Paul model.

I think it's similar to the exclusive Paul Stuart model of the same name.

I'm becoming more and more impressed with Samuelsohn, especially the cuts and British inspired fabrics.

Bah, I need to get a car. According to Google Maps it would take 2 hours using public transportation from downtown.

What was the selection of Drake's squares like?

Nick - Pretty meagre in terms of breadth of styles - maybe 2/3 wool silk in different colorways and a couple of meh linens. Definitely not worth 2 hour trip.

OT - I agree that there is a lot of very nice stuff there now, some beuatiful Isaia suits and sportcoats as well, but not at eye popping discount levels (yet :nodding:)

I love Samuelson. The geneva cut is fantastic for sportcoats. I tried on a Richard cut suit, which is a drop 7, trimmer than then Ashton, with a nice natural shoulder. They are great values - I just wish they would drop the buttoning point on their jackets and inch and I would be set

Nick - if there's a killer sale on (my impression is that Black Friday was better than Boxing Day this year) - spend $40 and rent a car for the day.

One item I am really looking out for is a tan / camel coloured coat in wool or cashmere, and not overly formal. If anyone spots a likely beast there, please give me a shout.

+1 on the Geneva. Picked up a great wool/cashmere SC.

They also had some etro SCs for $200-400. Pretty good price for the brand.

They've expanded their sales to include a kicker on sport coats.

25% off +plus an additional $100 off. I saw an Armani Collezioni double breasted sport coat for $50! With the promo, there were some Samuelsohn SCs in the $200 range and RLBL for $375.

Also, they still had some Samuelsohn navy chalk stripe suits for for $179.99 in the Richard cut.

And a nice brown flannel 3-piece suit (again Samuelsohn) for $209.99 in the Geo cut (drop 7).

And lastly, a bunch of Samuelsohn/Thomas Mason dress shirts for $40 (an amazing value for dress shirts in my opinion):

1000

Ok guys, went yesterday and crazy markdowns on SCs.

Highlights:

- Samuelsohn 100% Colombo cashmere SCs for $250ish in Geneva cut (very thick cashmere).
- Various other Samuelsohn SCs marked down to 200; includes Zegna fabric ones.

But the best:

- A 100% cashmere Zegna fricken Couture SC at 83% off!!! Not telling price; picked it up for myself :D

Guys, big news.

Spring/summer Cucinelli SCs marked down to $299 (retail $2500+).

They have a single breasted in a sand colour that's 100% cotton, half lined, fully canvassed. 42R and up available. An absolute beautiful roll on the 3rd button. Picked up the 40R for myself.

Also, double breasted SC in wool/silk/linen in dark brown. 42R and up available.
