The only pics I could give you would be with the camera on my Samsung Galaxy Note 20.
(I don't own a regular camera).

The thing I've noticed is that your sock choice makes a huge difference in how your Russells fit.
(I wear mine..usually my Huron Thula Thulas- with Darn Tough boot full cushion socks.)

By the way, does anyone know if the Art Carter chukkas were discontinued?

I don't see them anywhere on Russell Moccasin's website.

What size are you? I've got a pair in French Veal size 10.5D I'm probably going to let go of. Barely worn, only in the house.

Could anyone elaborate how to actually order from Russel?
I want a boot not directly available on the website, so I contacted them several times via [email protected] over the last couple of months, but I never got a response.

I would try giving them a call. That said, from their website:

Current orders in the system are running 10-12 weeks behind your original estimated due date. We apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate your business and your patience at this time. Any new orders taken at this time are being quoted a 10 month delivery date, but could possibly be delayed. Thank you.

Hi everyone, I just got a pair of sporting clay chukkas in suede and the top of the heel collar is hard and is digging in my leg when I bend my feet. The part where it hits is a bit tender after a day of wear. The fit otherwise is perfect on my feet. Do you advice sticking those heel cushions sold in pharmacies? or is this just a break in issue.

That sounds like a break-in issue. I would suggest doing what's necessary to limit discomfort and wear the boots as much as you reasonably can to break them in. It's common for hunting boots to go years without proper break-in b/c they're worn so seldomly. Hopefully, clay shooting gets you out enough to get some real wear on your new boots.
Good Luck!
