Gramercy York - Official Affiliate Thread

Hello Style Forum,

My name is Henry, owner of Gramercy York shop in Culver City.  We are pleased to be part of the Style Forum community.

The shop is located in the Arts District of Culver City here in Los Angeles. Though Culver City wasn't previously known for eclectic shops, in recent years the city has transformed into a destination, with the completion of a new train station.

We carry both men’s and women’s goods, in terms of men’s products, we currently offer:

Engineered Garments

ts(s)

Levi’s Vintage

Levi’s Made and Crafted

Red Wing

Wolverine

Canada Goose

Duvetica

Save Khaki

Shipley & Halmos

Topo Designs

Hershel Supply

Blind Barber

Ursa Major

Briefing

Shwood

Definitely looking to add more brands this year, maybe 5-10 more, so we are continuously adding more products.  Always open to suggestions on brands the community might like to see!

Our philosophy is that we try to mix in well known brands to the average guy with more curated brands like ts(s) and Engineered Garments.  We are constantly searching for brands that are a bit harder to find and want to try to introduce 1-2 new brands each season.

Our website does not show all the products in the shop (yet), but feel free to get in touch (info@gramercyyork.com) if there's something specific you're looking for.

For L.A. area Style Forum members, we do have events every few months, so we’ll post details whenever we have something coming up.

Looking forward to interacting with all of you!

Henry

For the month of January, all menswear items are 20% (except items already on sale).  So if you've been thinking about picking up a pair of boots, now is the perfect time.

Its good though the end of the month.  For L.A. area members, we have more products in store than are shown on the site.

Had a chance to go to NY this past week to visit showrooms to view Fall/Winter 2014 collections and check out the Liberty and Capsule shows.  It snowed pretty hard on Tuesday.

Here are some pics from the shows.

New style from Wolverine, 1000 mile boot from Buffalo leather.  Not sure if we'll order this or not, but they said that this will be the style that will be pushed by Wolverine.

Got to stop by Oak Street and talk to the guys, we'll be getting a new color in the Trench Boot this March.

We just got in a new boot from Oak Street Bootmakers, Color 8 Danite Trench Boot.  Currently, we will be the only shop to carry this color.

We just received some new Engineered Garments for the spring 2014 collection.  Will have up on the site soon, but we can only take orders by email or phone if you are unable to make it to the shop.

We have right now the multi block color shirt, wool jacket and two interesting pieces that are sold separate, but can be worn as a set.  Its a cardigan jacket, jacket vest.  Basically the jacket on top has no sleeves, the vest underneath has the sleeves.  Sounds weird, but its a really unique piece.  We've marked all of these items down on the site.  The fit is definitely Japanese, so its not like his brother's brand Engineered Garments.

(x-post from the Oak Street thread)

Just wanted to give some props to the new Color 8 Trench Boots that are being offered through Gramercy York. The Color 8, with the black Dainite sole and black laces really work well together.

Henry at GY was awesome to deal with. He was super responsive on emails and he took 3 videos of the boots for me to make sure I was happy with them. Looking forward to dealing with him again.
