Your feelings on people wearing "the poor man's" version of high end labels?

Plenty of stores (Zara, H&M, hole-in-the-wall shops) just rip whatever is popular in the high fashion world. I don't care much personally, just enough to wonder if it makes a difference. Some people are paying thousands for the original leather jacket for example, then a lowly label copies it and sells it for $100 to less fortunate buyers, having them feel like the belle of the ball with their "designer" jacket.

Can most people even tell the difference between the expensive original and the much more affordable replica?

I'm glad people may be wearing Zara/H&M if only because it doesn't look like complete trash. It's a step in a better direction.

Caring about the brand of the clothing you're wearing and not the actual product is weak.

What is your intention to ask this question? Are you afraid to shop at Zara or are you angry about people shopping there looking better than you?

TO answer the OP's question...

No, I have no feeling either way.
