Maybe all the attractive Philly people live outside of the city and commute.

As for the coffee, Starbucks is just awful, the Bose of coffee. They make themselves out to be a place where you can get higher quality, but they don't measure up to the mom-and-pop places that actually know their stuff. Dunkin' Donuts may not be the finest of coffees, but it's a coffee/donut shop and good for what it is. I wouldn't expect McDonalds to measure up to Kobi steaks.

Kensingston!

I agree re mon-&-pop, but the problem is most n'np's don't know their stuff. Those that do seem to feel they can charge you $4+ for a freakin' cappuccino!

Peyton is looking like the last, best hope at defeating the Evil Empire of the Northeast, so I'm going to ignore the fact that he'd shill for Planned Parenthood and the Christian Coalition simultaneously if it got him enough cash and air time, and hope that he can destroy New England in a few weeks.

Hope is all you have, my friend ...

Decided to try out the new Dunkin latte that they just rolled out down here. Not bad. Definitely not the greatest thing in the world. They don't exactly give you much in the way of espresso so you might need to ask for more. The cup was mostly filled with milk and it needed another 5 - 10 under the frother. Certainly better than Charbucks but I'd rather drink antifreeze than their espresso. Next up: McDonalds. Ever since that Consumer Reports ad I've been jonsing to try out their coffee.
