so i recently started buying suits and storing them in my dark, small closet. im paranoid as hell that moths will attack them. is there any way to prevent them? i mean other than sealing in something completely void of air?

i just bought a garment bag with a cedar block but i want to make sure these things don't attack.

additionally, just HOW common are moths that eat clothing?

Cedar panelled walls, cedar tiles, cedar shavings, cedar oil (if you can find it - it is banned in Canada). Rotate your clothes. Agitate yor clothing with your hand between the suits, running your hand up & down the garments. Moths don't like to be disturbed and hate cedar oil/wood. Keep window areas clean. Moth eggs can blow into your home with a breeze. That is all I can think of at the moment.

The best defense is to wear your clothes often. Cloth left undisturbed is an insect buffet. If you do need to store for extended periods, make sure the clothes have been cleaned first.
