Alright guys.  Let's get going.  This is for the children.  Right now, the current bid is at $600.  We can do better than that.  Also, are you going to let someone slide by at about 50% of the retail price?

Do I sense wallet fatigue amongst the forum members? The Saphir Shoeshine Starter Kit is $195 and the Cashmere Knit Polo is one of the softest you'll ever wear. We just have one per size in these examples...

Ahh screw it.  Count me in for $625.

When is/was this supposed to end?  Not bothered about this one to be honest, but it does help focus the mind (and plan participation!) to have an actual deadline in mind. :)

OK, that'll do it for this auction, with @mreister winning this beautiful cashmere polo from Hanger Project, as well as the Saphir kit. Our appreciation again to Kirby for his donation.

Saw @mreister's bid come in and congratulate him on his win. I thought I had it at a bargain. In lieu of my purchase, I intend on making a donation to a couple of my favorite charities right after Christmas including SOS Kinderdorf (Austria) and the Ronald McDonald House. A huge thanks to the sponsors of these auctions and to both Fok and unbelragazzo for their time and effort!

Up next is a Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown necktie from Yellow Hook Neckties and SF favorite @NewYorkIslander.

This tie is made from beautiful, heavier, 100% English Cashmere and is crafted with super lightweight lining and left untipped to allow the fabric to do most of the work in terms of keeping its shape. Retail on the tie is $169.99 and its only one of four produced. Its a real neckwarmer kind of piece for those colder days to come (or that have already arrived in some parts of the country). Handcrafted completely in Brooklyn, NY, from start to finish.

Many thanks to Rob for contributing this lovely tie.

Let's start the bidding at $50. New bids must improve the standing bid by at least $1. We'll keep this one rolling until tomorrow at 3 ET, or until there have been ten minutes without a bid, whichever comes later.

That'd work well with a number of my coats. I'm in for $60.

I've bought three ties from Rob so far, and not only are they some of my all time favourites, Rob is one of the most decent and pleasant human beings I've ever dealt with - among many in the SF vendor community, it has to be said, but I love how Rob and his people do things.

On the basis of that hearty recommendation, and to skip past any dicking about: one hundred 'Murrican Dollars.

Goddamn. I generally prefer some foreplay before I get screwed like that.

I'll more than double my starting bid to $130.
