Critique welcomed : does my jacket fit?

Thread Starter
I just received my jacket from the tailor to shorten the sleeves and take in the waist. Now, i'm not one of these young kids who like the waist suppression to touch their body with wrinkled arms and etc but I do like my jacket to fit me.

Do you think I need more waist suppression? I wear a 41/42 jacket with a drop 10. My shoulders are typically 18.75-19 as well.

Also, do the arms look somewhat baggy?

Oh, please excuse the sloppy placement of my square ... I quickly plopped it into the pocket

Cheers,

I think the sleeves are actually slightly too long and that yes, you should have the jacket slimmed a bit to add more definition.

I concur on both points.

I also think the sleeves are a tad long. I'll be taking this back and having him re-do it. Thanks!

If you plan on having it reduced, and it could do with a tad, I'd recommend raising the waist suppression about 3/4" to 1". I believe the look you would achieve with this alteration would make a big difference
