Yes, it seems the sub-group of feminists guilty of this are in rather disrepute this morning with their usual partners.

Two things; did he actually say, "I won't be out there blowharding"?  And second, did he describe his foreign policy by saying a longer, less memorable version of "speak softly and carry a big stick"?  Looks like he has the family gift for oratory.

I love the three young guys facing the camera who are obviously falling asleep.

Bush might have had a chance in a different election cycle, but this sort of low-key moderate conservative thing isn't going to attract any voters this time around. Plus Trump is just pure kryponite for him, that "low energy" jab was deadly.

Surprised it was suicide and not suicide by cop.

Marijuana makes you stupider--surprise!

So one of the links in that article is this: http://www.cnn.com/2014/09/09/health/teen-marijuana-use/
Quote:
Teens who use marijuana daily before age 17 are more than 60% less likely to get their high school diploma than those who've never used pot, according to a new study published Tuesday in the journal The Lancet Psychiatry.

I bet teens that get high daily off alcohol are not much different. If a young teen gets high daily off anything, and carries this out over an extended time period, the problem probably is not with the substance of choice but rather the underlying reasons for always being high.

The very hardcore lefty FB friends have started in on the "Ted Cruz isn't an American.  He's not eligible for the Presidency" deal.  Its funny to watch.

One election cycle to the next it seems sides simply switch on topics. It's like everyone wipes the slate of grievances clean and folks simply trade sides based on the individuals involved.

^^True.

But if we've decided to start parsing out what "natural born citizen" means for presidential eligibility, Cruz is a good test.  Born outside the US, Cuban father, American mother, lived in Canada until the age of four and held dual citizenship (unintentionally, by all appearances) until age forty or so.  That's gotta be borderline.

I dunno...if I cared (and didn't believe the current court's interpretation), I'd probably be all over that too.

I mean, how long did crazy people beg for a birth certificate to prove that obama was actually born in america (when really, with the interpretation of "natural born", it didn't matter where he was born since nobody was disputing his mother's identity)?

Here you've got a guy from that side, who we *know* wasn't born in america. I'm not so sure that pointing it out is hypocrisy, so much as it is pointing out hypocrisy on the other side. And honestly, there are probably plenty of people who believe that "natural born" should mean born in the USA--if that's your true belief, then it is logically consistent to believe that Obama was legit and Cruz is not.

But I'm sure there are also plenty of people out there with short memories who seriously believe their claim against Cruz.

The difference in this case isn't they're pointing out the hypocricy of the other side.  They actively defended their guy, and I agree he is a natural-born citizen, but they're saying Cruz isn't.  If he wasn't eligible, the FBI/courts would have already spoken up.  Just like when Obama and McCain ran, the FBI investigated both and the courts agreed they are Constitutionally eligible.
