Sorry, I meant "what difference at this point does any of this make?"

Not using an unclassified email account really isn't a big deal since everything in it is...well...unclassified.  She would have had to use a government account for encrypted or more more secure matters and all her correspondence with the White House would have been on that account.  Besides as Sec of State I would assume she would verbalized what she wanted and had her subordinates handle all correspondence.

We all just need to understand that racial slurs, stealing money, accepting bribes from foreign governments, stealing documents from the National Archive, extortion, and using secret email accounts . . .

Well, they are political hit jobs orchestrated by we members of the VRWC.

Remember when Hillary serfs spent the weekend culling through documents to pick out the ones that would be produced in the Benghazi inquiry?

Also, it looks like all official emails were sent/received on her personal email account.

This is a big story. In 2 to 3 days, the Clinton orcs will begin their "but", "context", "teaching moment" defense.

Clearly you have no idea how government email works

Given that she reportedly used the external email account for all electronic correspondence -- including "official" email -- calling it a "secret" email account seems delusional. We all have our personal conspiracy narratives, they play better if they're internally consistent.

That's the term used by Gawker and some left-leaning outlets.

Would "illegal email account" be more suitable?

Or "email account opened to skirt the law"?

I think secret works just fine given the context(TM) of my post.

So you're supporting your usage by citing the authority of Gawker? You must be right, then.

Anyone else think Rahm might actually lose the runoff?

Your post implied that I suffered some break with reality by my use of the term "secret email."

By tying left-wing sites to the term, including Guardian and Gawker, I am rebutting the implication that I invented the term, in isolation, during a mental breakdown.

Meanwhile, David Brock is going on the attack in usual Clinton style. This is like watching an NFL playoff game with the Clinton Killers using a playbook from the 1985 Chicago Bears.

At least try to dress it up a bit, for pete's sake.

The computer server that transmitted and received Hillary Rodham Clinton's emails - on a private account she used exclusively for official business when she was secretary of state - traced back to an Internet service registered to her family's home in Chappaqua, New York, according to Internet records reviewed by The Associated Press.

The highly unusual practice of a Cabinet-level official physically running her own email would have given Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential candidate, impressive control over limiting access to her message archives.

snip

Operating her own server would have afforded Clinton additional legal opportunities to block government or private subpoenas in criminal, administrative or civil cases because her lawyers could object in court before being forced to turn over any emails.

I said yesterday she's pretty smart.

I was mostly just yanking your chain, but I wasn't implying you made it up in isolation. The implication was more about a willingness (which Gawker certainly is prone to) to throw around terms that fit the general reactive narrative even if they have no relationship to the actual facts under discussion.
Crazies often find "support" in the fact that other people are on the bus, whether the boogie man in question is the Clintons, Halliburton, measles vaccination, or Bill Belichik.
