They are also the demographic that has suffered the most from Obama's failures, which might partially explain why this admin is kissing their asses so hard right now.

I honestly think they do not feel Obama has had failures as relates to them.

A lot of young people do. I've spoken to some of them. All but the most partisan see ACA as a failure

How do they feel it has failed? The "stay on parents insurance until 26" was really popular with ones here and those I've spoken to.

He reminds me of one SF poster in particular. I'd rather not say who.

Protesters Are At It Again — They've Stopped An Apple Bus In San Francisco And A Google Bus In Oakland

Protesters are mad at the tech companies for a few reasons.

First and foremost, the wealthy tech employees have driven up the price of housing in San Francisco, which is pricing out some people.

Secondarily, the buses use public transit stops, and some protesters think that's wrong.

The last time this happened, the protesters posted demands that included tech companies kicking in $1 billion for affordable housing.

The second point is semi-valid. Perhaps the tech companies can kick some cash to the city for using their bus stops... but to demand $1 billion in housing subsidies?

WTF.

Fucking people. As long as they get theirs.

I can understand the inclination from people who have lived in a city for a long time, especially multigenerational residents. It sucks realizing that you're getting priced out of "your" city.

The people that are truly awesome are those that come into a city for opportunity then bitch about the costs being high. You're exactly the reason costs are high! Seems endemic in young New York City residents. Of course I have several of them on Facebook.

What are they going to do about orphans and twenty-somethings that have parents who are lazy bums and don't get insurance? These people would be the poorest of the lot and it does not seem fair that they will have to purchase coverage on their own.

Pajamacare may claim an intention to help poor people, but in virtually every aspect it is actually hurting them.

LL Bean. If I accidentally mess myself, mommy sends them back for a replacement set, no questions asked!
