"GovernmentExecutive.com, the government's business news daily and key website for federal managers and executives, reported Wednesday that the EPA management for Region 8 in Denver sent an e-mail earlier this month to staff pleading to stop inappropriate bathroom behavior, including defecating in the hallway."

Global warming is totally real. Wait, let me poop in the hallway.

Let's keep paying more for gas, even though we could reduce gas prices in half. Environmentalism and all.

Let's go to Family Dollar.

Or Dollar General.

Are Family Dollar/Dollar General as pervasive in other parts of the country as they are here? I don't recall them being everywhere years ago, but it seems like they're ubiquitous now. Every small town I drive through has one, and they're all brand new. It's as if they just get dropped there like poop in an EPA building hallway.

They're everywhere here.

Weird. I wonder what it is about their business model that drives them to put them all over the place like they do.

Hah, we had some dude poop in the hallway here a couple years ago. One of these 80 year old emeritus guys that rolls in a couple hours a week. Some of 'em like coming in to "work" even after the dementia starts setting in.

Around here Family Dollars are mostly in small towns or the ghetto. Especially the hispanic neighborhoods. If they are popular with hispanics then that might explain their recent proliferation.

I'm not above saving a few bucks, but most of the dollar stores don't seem to be any cheaper; they just sell stuff in smaller portions.

Dollar Tree (where everything costs $1) is the good one.

I've been poor many times in my life. I've shopped at Walmart. I am thankful I've never been so poor I had to shop at a dollar store.

Thank you Baby Jesus.

I don't mind shopping at either. The last time I was in a dollar store, there were only two or three other customers and they seemed better off than most Walmart shoppers.

Executive power got a severe spanking today. A unanimous vote by the SCOTUS in favour of Congress concerning Obama's recess appointments to the NLRB. Good stuff.

Not quite unanimous. There was a concurring opinion in the outcome. Different roads to get there.
