Hayden

Anrike

Jessie

Tiffany

Sydney

Paloma

Hey you can always go with North West when in doubt.

These are all great names except Tiffany IMO. Sydney is a semi-unisex name that is serious depite having 2 y's in it. LOL. Anrike is cool too. Good suggestions.

Your welcome!

In the defense of the name Tiffany, you can't go wrong.. "Breakfast at Tiffany's" "Tiffany Blue".. the association with the name usually resonates with luxury and class. .

Anrike is the name of my Estonian friend-- I've never met anyone with her name. Has a good ring to it, exotic, but easy to read.

Have fun naming your baby and good luck lol

its funny how these things work out. Cant do Sydney because we live in Detroit, and we HATE Sidney Crosby of the Penguins. It would be like naming her Osama Bin Somethingjewish.

I have a name picked out and the wife has agreed to 'take it into the room'. It helps that its the same name as someone on TV so everytime she is on TV I can be like 'look, that's my name....

Sometimes you need to 'use it' and say it outloud vs. looking at it on paper.

that's what poor people think and why they pick names like that.

1. People that named their babies Tiffany are not always poor.

2. They may or may not pick the name due to that reason.

3. Ignorant way to look at someone picking a name for that reason.

Good! That's progress! And yes, saying it out loud is the true test, rather than just seeing it on paper. I think its good to have more than one real name picked out to "take into the room", and then see which one seems to suit the baby when you see its face. I know its hard with a baby, but some people just seem to "look" like their name, in a wierd way. I don't know if the person becomes a certain way based on the name, or if its just a coincidence, or what.

For the record, to me the name Tiffany rhymes with girls who are kinda dumb and bitchy, and/or have a high ponytail and/or are super jealous and clingy types. I'm not saying its fair, but that's where my subconsious goes with that name. Sorry.

A buddy of mine dated a stripper who called herself Tiffany Blue while working. She resonated with luxury and class. And chlamydia. Which she shared with my friend.

Her real name was Destinee, which I always thought was hilarious.

I had a temp admin who was named Tiffany. She was stunning. So beautiful that all the other 50+ women in the office instantly hated her. They all made fun of her name as though her name Tiffany = dumb. I think women are far more catty and judgemental about women's names than men.

1. Yes they are.
2. Yes they do.
3. No it's not.
4. Get a job.

lots of terrible ideas in this thread but that's because I hate two things about kids names - boys with girls names and vice-versa, and deliberately misspelled names or names with a traditional pronunciation and some pretentious parent decides it's to be pronounced differently
