Canali makes some fairly soft-shouldered coats and some pretty square-shouldered ones too (at least in past seasons). Canali is of considerably higher quality IMO than 1818. Golden Fleece/Black Fleece quality is good, but I don't like the cuts or padding of the shoulder. I haven't tried BB's "natrual craftsmanship line," so can't speak to that.
