You guys have no idea how long it has taken me to find a non-bespoke 33R suit jacket. Jacket fits perfect, IMO. The pants on the other hand need to be taken in at the waist, hemmed, and slimmed down. I have an awesome fitting pair of Nom de Guerre pants that I'll bring in to see if my tailor can make these fit like it. Sorry for the shitty lighting.

That actually looks pretty good on you. I think keeping the bottom button undone on the jacket will help the drape around the vent area though.

I just noticed the charcoal plaid vest for the first time on Nepenthes's site.

I just spotted this EG down vest from awhile back on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=004 The hood is not detachable, but I like the color. I'm waiting to hear back on measurements, but I don't think I'll go after it even if it will fit.

The vest was somewhere in the $300's. If you're going to be in-store on Wednesday, there's a one-day 20% off sale (at least at the SF store, not sure if nationwide), so it could possibly hit below $300.

did you ever end up removing the pocket from your bedford? i'm considering it, as it's a bit too busy for my liking with 4 pockets...

Poly, are you referring to the Norfolk or Bedford? I had planned on getting the right chest pocket removed from the Norfolk, but I haven't had a chance to yet. I'll probably stop by the tailor sometime this week and talk it up with him on whether it'd be a good idea.

Removing the chest pocket from the Bedford seems like an interesting idea though and I'd definitely like to see how that turns out.

BTW, I had e-mailed Angelo recently and he had said something that relates to pocket removal and such (I had asked him about hemming the BDU Storm Pants with the cuff detail):

As far as shortening, it is totally up to you. Part of the idea of the Engineered Garments line, is for the wearer to modify and mold the garment to there own intended personal use...It really is about evolving the wardrobe. We want these garments to stand the test of time. So you could wear them now, 10 years ago or 10years from now.

Yeah I think it can do without the 4th pocket. I think the Norfolk looks a lot cleaner this year without the 4th. I hope they stick with that from now on.
