Does anyone know if they'll mark down for customs if asked?

If you only order that shirt, you shouldn't need a markdown. There shouldn't be dutys on <200 worth of clothing. Furthermore, there shouldn't be dutys on goods with USA as the country of origin (like EG). Of course, this assumes the retailer fills out the form correctly.

Need Supply
Tailor at the Tannery
The Bureau
The Business

Intermediates has been in Asia for a couple of years from what I know. They've had some cool vests and jackets. I think it's as the name suggests, something inbetween EG and Workaday.

For all those also interested, I have confirmation that Shingles indeed got the last big floral tie in existence.
If anyone decides to sell, I'd be happy to pay retail+ smile.gif

And who knows, maybe the 19c in the fabric will hit sales and I can have a tie or two fashioned from the material.

Thanks for telling me. I just realized End filled out the country of manufacture as GB on my invoice, and hence I was charged about 15% customs for a EG jacket. Was never gonna order from them again anyway but this seals the deal.

I've ordered from End and not had an issue with the country of origin getting filled out incorrectly.

Likewise, ordered from Bureau without a problem with customs, as well.

You've probably been misinformed, they told me of the four stores stocking it, this was on april 9th.

How about a 1000 bux? Hamburgers and sympathy hugs are on me smile.gif

Is the Baker thinner than than the Bedford or the same? Looking for something lighter than the Bedford to wear for the summer. Also I called fedex and they waived duties on two orders no questions asked.

Yes, well depends on the material... but my polka dot baker is very light

If you guys are getting hit with customs for EG (ordering from the EU) You can get the charges knocked off if you contact the shipping dept. The goods are all made in USA and those goods are exempt. I can't vouch for the exact process because its never happened to me, but they shouldn't be able to charge customs. Even End should cover the charges, it would be the ethical thing to do considering they complain about marking down value because its "illegal"

END mismarked an EG item as made in GB so that refund was justified. But I also was able to get a $50ish duty charge knocked off on an item that was made in EU. Fedex didn't ask questions for either one. I'm guessing they don't care about customs below a certain amount so all you have to do is call in. I was hoping END would give me a coupon or something for the fuck up but oh well.

This season, there is no specific Truman jacket* but rather the Landsdown jacket in Dark Navy Cotton Dobby Twill, which, when coupled with the Truman Pants/Shorts and Vest, makes a three-piece suit. I own it... It's phenomenal.

* Nepenthes NY provided me with this info.
