Puckering on My New Suit: Is this an Issue?

Dear All,

There is a small amount of puckering on the shoulder of my new bespoke suit in the first picture below.

The second picture below shows "an indentation" between my chest and my shoulder; although the picture makes this look more visible than it appears in real life.

Would you consider this an issue? Am I being obsessive? Do you think this is the intended look, or a design flaw?

Otherwise the suit fits great.

FYI - I think my tailor has a thing for suits with "imperfections" (proof that the suit was handmade).

Thanks!

If you aren't happy with something on a bespoke suit, get it fixed.  What is the point of bespoke if it is not just as you wanted?  I probably would not notice the shoulder, but if I owned it, it would drive me nuts over time.  The chest is noticeable, and I would take it straight back to the tailor.

Take it back, a bespoke suit should fit you better than that.

Looking again, there is a lot of splay below the button point, and break around the waist.  Not sure if that is what you had in mind, but I think the overall fit of the jacket could be better, not just those two spots.  I'm sure you paid a hefty price for that suit, so go back and make sure you get commensurate quality.

What causes that indentation between the shoulder and lapel? I have a similar issue with one of my suits.

His shoulders are rolling forward, and the canvas in the chest looks very soft, which may be causing the folds on the chest
