A walk in the Clouds

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
minus Keanu and the premise/story/script, the cast, cinematography, and costumes/set pieces were stellar.

It holds a lot of memories because I was riding a real hot streak in High School and got a lot dates that year, and I naively took all of them to the same movie over a course of month.

it got a long run at the local theater because Anthony Quinn apparently lived in the next town in Rhode Island.

Wasn't that Batman Forever and not Batman and Robin?

The Master. Very good. Hoffman gives an excellent performance as always. PT Anderson's movies aren't always great, but they are always worth watching.

Nick Cage owns this category.

Yes. Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans and Wicker Man are both very enjoyable bad movies. So is Face/Off, although that's actually kind of a good movie.

Face/Off is hilarious.

I assume we've all seen "best scenes from Wicker Man"

Regardless,

I thought this one was a huge letdown

I don't see how CLueless and Pitch Black can be considered "terrible" movies.

In stark contrast to it's sequel(s), Pitch Black is i think not a terrible movie in the sense that some ITT are. It almost coaxes a performance out of Vin Diesel, which is a feat in and of itself.

I quite enjoy a film called "Way of the Gun", the plot is horrible and the acting.. well, not that good either. But the attention to technical detail is impeccable, which was surprising to see in this class of film.
