What stores or brands never go on sale?

The Lattazi NY store never goes on sale, but I've been them being discounted at BG. Does anyone know if EG ever discounts it shoe trees?

How about Swaine Adeney Brigg? I am eyeing some of its luggage pieces.

Swaine Adeney has sales.

I don't think EG discounts its trees.

Actually, it is right across the street from Zegna, so normally when sales start, I drop in at one and then cross the street to the other.
The ties are fine. Before my shoe education here, I purchased two pairs of Ferragamo shoes, and they both became "unglued" after a year or so of use.

Hermes - If I remember correctly, Hermes advertise their UK sales in the FT twice a year, with different ads for the various types/ranges of items that will be in the sale that week. With each type/range of item having a few days allocated (menswear week/day one, womenswear week/day two etc). I think they put about four sets of ads in the FT over the space of the sale (January/August).

Rolex - I was under the impression that as part of their agreement, Official Rolex Dealers aren't meant to discount Rolex watches.

Ferrari - In terms of anti/inverse-sales, I believe that at least in the states, Official Ferrari Dealers have some sort of limitation on shipping new cars with a huge increase over list, which is why they have a habit of selling new model cars (F430,599GTB) to friendly buyers, only to buy them back and put the "used" car back on the market at a massive markup. I imagine the same sort of thing goes on with Rolex dealers and the Stainless Daytona.

LV - I understand it is LVMH group policy not to have sales, hence the lack of sales at Berluti&LV.

I have three pairs (two Studio, one Tramezza) and they are all very comfortable and look nice. I have not yet worn them enough to be able to judge on durability, though.

In any case, now when I have discovered Carmina, I guess that I will just look in at Gamo's for ties...

But the Tramezza is welted, so how can it be unglued? I guess you bought the cheaper line (Studio).

Not quite from the Venanzi store, but I recently bought a Belvest suit on STP that was rebranded Venanzi. Was quite a bit off the original price......

This is odd. I distinctly remember going inside an LV store in Ocean Terminal in Hong Kong whilst it was having a sale.

They have sales on clothing and shoes; however the classic bags never go on sale.

I'm pretty sure they have an annual or semi-annual clearance in their stores. Last time I went, there was a small rack with their sale shoes, at least 6-8 models. And I was a few weeks late, they had more on sale before.

During the Italian semi-annual sales two weeks ago in Milan:

- Kiton store had items up to 10% off
- Borrelli store had items 30% off
- Al Bazar store never has sales
