If you intend to drive your car on paved streets, the comfort and agility of the S-Class will also surpass the RR (which ultimately was designed as an off-road vehicle). Design is a question of taste, but the RR looks basically like a box to me.

If you intend to drive off-road, the Landcruiser/Lexus is a much better pick

Ehhh, it just happened to work out that way. I picked up the S in the morning and then went to drop off our old fuji white 2011 Range Rover Sport GT for a repair issue in the afternoon. While I was killing time in the showroom I chatted up the sales manager and he mentioned that they had a lot of inquiries on sourcing a fuji white Sport GT, and that he could give me a really good trade deal if I was interested in a full size, as they were trying to move the 2012s before the new ones arrived. I really liked the final revisions to the full size, and Mrs. TC had never been fond of the RRS, so I figured what the hell. Just kind of right place right time. I did get a pretty big WTF from the Mrs. when I came home in it, but she was very pleased with the change. LOL
