Which should I get?

2014 S550 or a 2014 Range Rover Supercharged?

I think it boils down to your personality and what your are driving right now...I will say this however I got into a somewhat older version of the range rover and I didn't feel it held up well I think the s class looks better after time than the rr....also it looks amazing in and out and I think it's more value for money. I am facing a similar scenario but add to that the porche cayenne..my issue is that I don't know how I would drive a car that isn't an suv

I started writing a serious reply but then I thought to myself "why waste time, this guy has ONE POST, this post. This post which is such an odd question with NO context or information (doesn't even specify RR V6 or V8 supercharged, geographical location, intended use, etc).

I'm not even sure why I bothered to write any reply at all...

Judging by your username, I can assume you fly into Charles de Gaulle often. If that is true, you are more than comfortable in dealing with an abortion of efficiency and design, while still feeling as though you're in the global hub of sophistication and class.

You clearly want the Range Rover.

S550, but I prefer driving a car than an SUV.

Have you test driven them both?

I drove them both last night and that was an easy decision - the S550.

The Range Rover's technology (touchscreen navigation, etc) is shockingly horrid compared to the S550 which was like something from the future. The S was quicker, far more luxurious, and was just more advanced and refined.

Was any of that REALLY a surprise to you? :roma:

The S-Class is still the car where new automotive technology is pioneered. So you will get in a 2014 S-Class the technology which will be added to the RR a few years from now. If you intend to drive your car on paved streets, the comfort and agility of the S-Class will also surpass the RR (which ultimately was designed as an off-road vehicle). Design is a question of taste, but the RR looks basically like a box to me.
