when can we vote though?

Wow, these entries turned out a lot better than I expected (mostly because I couldn't really grasp what the theme meant till I saw some of the better entries). Def not a crossover hit tho lol

Sorry I missed the boat, was visiting my gf all weekend and had a very limited wardrobe

what exactly is discordant about tog's fit?

I had a lot of fun with this, although I'm a bit disappointed, though not surprised, at how a bunch people asked what the theme meant, or tried to offer an explanation of what it meant.  It could just be me but I felt that mindset really spoiled a very, very fun prompt!

I went back and forth in my head for a bit with this, but knew that the one thing I wanted to incorporate above all else was some girls clothing.  The hard part was that what is available to me is a size 0 or equivalent, so that made it pretty tough.  While I don't think either of my attempts were a success, I also don't feel like they were all that much of a stretch, and really, outside of a womens jacket in each, are definitely something I will wear going forward now.  The idea behind the pink rider was that because it was small and the sleeves were too short, it could work as a sort of fuzzy vest midlayer.  I'm still not unconvinced that it can't work, although a different context (some jeans and a green or camo milsurp jacket over it instead)

Still though, it got me to break out those Generic Man sneakers, and looking at the pictures I REALLY like how the combo of the lower half works with the shorts, leggings, and white hitops.  That will absolutely be worn again, most likely with the Facetasm tee or something similar.

I was pretty tempted not to include it, and then figured 'what the hell.' dunno if it's really eligible though. sort of the opposite of the challenge.

guys I just wanted to be included

i just realized it would be really cool if the same SFer won the MC challenge and the SWD challenge in the same week. even cooler if they won it with the same fit.

You should also probably note that this challenge is pretty tailor-made for you, given you're very eclectic style and (presumably) deep wardrobe, and your ability to layer disparate pieces like crazy without looking ridiculous

Mine was included?? But I clearly missed the point of it all... Well, I have one vote secured  :hide:

Well, the poll is open until tomorrow night, but I don't really imagine that anyone will unseat Parker from his throne of glory. So, @Parker, what'll it be?

hey! thanks guys… I think we should wait for all the votes to be tallied. You never know... it's not even 7pm in Miami-Dade County.

totally agree with c4est. this was a fun, and thought-provoking challenge. lots of great and weird outfits. made me think a little more about new combinations that might even work outside of this oddball scenario. kudos to stanley and synth for a great idea.

also wanted to mention how much I like @thomaspaine fit. (< how do u do those tag things?)

Didn't post a fit, and don't post all that much, but I wanted to chime in and say this was a great idea! Lots of interesting pieces and combinations. If you do it semi-consistently, I'm sure you'll get more and more worthy fits.
