So we are planning on a kind of beer it forward in time for Christmas this year (structure is more akin to Secret Santa). Sign up, get a name, ID, and address, ship a bunch of local beers and swag (glasses, shirts, stickers and the like) to that person, and get a box from a different region of the US in return.

Deadline to sign up is 12/1. Deadline to ship is 10 days from Christmas (12/15). That gives you two whole weeks to go to your local beer store or brewery, buy some beer, pack it, and ship it. Of course you can always go buy beer before that date.

Please do not use USPS (UPS or Fedex is preferred).

Let's say the minimum is $30 excluding shipping (which might be around $20-$25). You're welcome to throw in a few more things in the spirit of Christmas giving (which of course you don't have to). Nice handwritten cards and notes are also appreciated and as, if not more, valued than extra beers. Dick pics are not.

I'm not sure if non US people want in but if you do, PM me and we can figure something out like less minimum $ amount to accommodate for shipping. If you don't want to ship internationally also PM me and we can figure things out.

No need to go overboard but beers not easily found in your persons region is appreciated. This is easily found by using www.seekabrew.com (thanks to @Kwilkinson for the suggestion)

PM me if you promise to be responsible and want in. If you don't ship we have your address and you can expect a full bag of fresh human turds in the mail.

I am excite

Tooch maybe?

BTW, does tagging someone do anything in SF? I've been tagged before and got no emails or on-site notifications.

For members without locations under them should we just state where we are from?

Got your pm. You could state your state if you want but I'll try and organize it so your giver and receiver are both different areas for you

Any preference for large-format vs. 12-oz. bottles?
