HOW MANY PAIRS OF JEANS DO YOU OWN? - Page 3

Hmm interesting thread though I think many people have stated this in the official denim/jeans thread.

Anyways

Dior Homme x 3

Devoa x 1

Balmain x 2

Visvim x 1

Naked & Famous x 1

So a total of 8 pairs which will probably be enough for a long while as I need to focus on pants

You have a nice selection going on there, should last quite a while!

I tend to focus on one pair, wear them to holes, and move onto the next pair..but I can't stop buying pairs for the queue in the meantime, so never run out!

I used to have a huge collection, then I lost tons of weight through being ill, so I ebayed most of them, now I just keep what fits.
The Glow in the Dark pair I should have sized down 1, but it means I can wear thermal leggings under them all winter, as they're not very thick..

Which Naked and Famous pair do you have?smile.gif

I believe the N+F are called dirty wash or something like that. Pretty good for what they are though they stretched out a ton from when I first bought them

I have four pairs of jeans, all from Uniqlo. Jeans and shirts are two items I refuse to much spend much on, though it would be nice to have one really quality pair of jeans (dh or margiela perhaps).

4 pairs for now:

naked & famous indigo weird guys

pair of the cheaper gap selvedge jeans - just got a couple days ago for $27

black pair of levis 501 - perfect fit, terrible material

levis 527 - yes, bootcut need to replace.

so...i guess i could replace the last 2, i would like to get raw but need my jeans to fit me length wise, not into the whole stacking/cuffing thing.

Gap jeans sound like a good cop!

The last 2 sound like they've seen better days, but I'd stick to one wash unless you want to start soaking, shrinking etc, a full time job in itself!

Thumbs up for Naked and Famous Weird Guys - what colour do you have??

I spend a fortune on jeans and shirts as I live in them, and the £20 shirts I pick up always shrink or the buttons fall off.

Currently saving for a really good black leather biker so no new jeans until 2015 now!!!

Four.

Two pairs of A.P.C. New Standards (one pair have 18 months of fading) and a couple of older pairs for when I likely to get messy.

3 pairs of PRPS, 2 predistressed GTOs and one Barracuda raw.
2 pairs of RRL, low straights and slim fit.
1 Dior 17,5 Jake.
1 Unbranded tapered 21oz.
2 Diesel MII.

I also have one pair of Zam Barrett DNA jeans that don't fit and the actual fabric is not really denim.

So yes, way too many and way too expensive for my income.

Let's see:

2 pairs of MMM
2 pairs of 3sixteen
1 pair of Dior
1 pair of WvG
2 pairs of LVC
2 pairs of APC
1 pair of CoH
1 pair of Joe's

I think that puts me at 12? I think I have a pair of black overdyed RRLs too, so 13. I'm planning on adding a couple more pairs this winter, namely a pair of MMM and maybe Zams or Attachments

12, most are LVC from Valencia Street. Because they are 10+ years old, they are quite faded and have had numerous repairs. I've had that done at the Levis tailoring shop.

I have one bespoke pair of Jack Knife jeans. A Jean Store Rocker,

My son wears a similar size so a few other brands that I owned have been passed along. (Somet, Nudie, etc.)
