Nope. It's easier when you don't have too many choices and just wear the ones that looks good on you. :)

If you wear other clothes, agreed,

I only wear jeans, so a selection of 5 suits me perfectly.

Should keep me going until January 2015, I hope!smile.gif

Ok, so you're more smart/casual then!

I just love both great quality Japanese denim or the great fun element of Naked and Famous jeans, also made from Japanese denim.

ATM I'm wearing my purple face Pure Blue Japan jeans, which are different and lovely.

My custom 21oz Kurabo jeans are my favourite, and oldest jeans.

Not buying any more for a while until I've trashed some of these 5 pairs:)

I would love to pick up a pair of the rainbow-weft jeans just for kicks, but unfortunately I don't have the dinero for that right now.

I'd love to see how the rainbow weft fade...

This being styleforum, I'm a little shocked by the response so far.

I'm near 25 pairs I think, and that's not including twill 5-pocket pants that are cut like jeans but aren't denim.

I may have a problem.

I don't think you've got a problem at all - it's just that every body so far that has posted is a minimalist

That doesn't make your collection a problem,

Just enjoy your jeans!!!smile.gif

Let's see... I probably have 10 or so pairs, but only truly wear 7 of them:

-3 AG Adriano Goldschmied. All are in the Matchbox Slim Straight Leg cut: 1 pair is a 19 year wash, one is 2 year (also my oldest pair which are incredibly comfortable and have faded unbelievably well) and then I just bought a pair in their 'Midnight' wash. Highly recommend AG jeans.. they are probably in the mid-price range, but are very worth it, most comfortable jeans I own.

-1 pair of Nudies in a raw, dark Slim Jim cut. I've had them for a little over a year now, and am quite happy with them. Well constructed, faded slowly but nicely. Word to the wise, if you are looking to buy their Slim Jim cut, buy whichever waist size you can just barely get into. Trust me, they (along with AG jeans) will always stretch out comfortably.

-1 old pair of light wash Jack & Jones. Nothing special to them, but I love their straight cut.

-1 pair of Scotch & Soda in a vintage-style wash. Think dark blue but with a tinge of military green intertwined into the wash. Light whiskering around the front pockets and a beautiful beige/light brown faded wash on the knees and lower calf. My pair in particular were made in Italy, which surprised me. They also have some cool detail on the pockets and button fly. These are a little heavier than my AG jeans, so I tend to wear them more in the Autumn/Winter.

-1 pair of Ralph Lauren straight leg jeans in their brown "Broderick" wash. Just bought them online so I can't say yet how they fit... But I love the wash and colour of these. They also appear to have a slight waxing on them, which may mean they are more suitable for the cooler months. http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/index.jsp?productId=23172596&cp=1760781.4218845&view=all&omniselect=View_All99&parentPage=family

Looking to buy another pair of Nudies, though I'm debating whether I should buy a pair of Acne or APC first, as I hear they are both quite nice. Does anyone have a pair of either ACNE or APC jeans... what are your thoughts?

Sounds like you have a nice collection!

Out of your choices I'd go for the Nudies, as the best quality, but I've only ever tried on the other. 2 makes, perhaps you'd better try somebody who's had all 3:)

Good luck with your next jeans anyway!!!

I'm back to living in my Glow in the Dark - by far my most comfortable jeans!
