More fabric offerings to come!

Will the 3 3/8 inch ties be longer than the 8 cm ties? If they're 60" or so, that'd would be great, and I'd likely be a customer (though my preferred width is 3.5").

They will be standard length ~ 58 inches.

I do apologize!

Well that is unfortunate to hear. Like I said I was really hoping to be a customer, but that's just too short for me, and many other men as well. I do hope you'll consider longer and/or custom lengths in the future.

Three Conrad Wu ties are on it's way to Mexico. I fell in love immediately with them just by looking at them, can't way to wear them!

Best of luck Conrad! :slayer:

Very limited stock left of the shantung grenadine.

I'll also be slowly introducing more wool offerings as we progress through fall/winter. :)

With the days getting shorter and darker as we approach winter I thought about adding some brighter colors to my collection.

The latest addition:

Silk matka explained:

Quote:
Matka is an Indian term for rough handloom silk fabric made from very thick yarns spun out of pierced cocoon in the weft and organzine in warp. The yarns are obtained from short ends of silk from Mulberry silkworms (Bombyx mori) and spun by hand without removing the gum (sericin). As such, there are slubs and irregularities that give the fabric a unique character. It looks something like tweed, but the fibers are all the same color.

I know there is a lot of love for shantung but silk matka is unique in it's own way. At first it has a bit of a rough handle but after a few wears it softens up and feels very similar to tussah silk; slubs appear and the fabric feels much more delicate. Overall a very underrated raw silk that is both curious to the eye and touch.

That is a pretty darn cool fabric. I feel like I have 100 solid blue ties, but for some reason I always want more.
