klay49: thanks:fonz:, i have an odd swing. but it works.  the fit was a "work casual" fit.  and more fits with people doing stuff would put what they wear in context. because static pictures say little about "why" they chose to wear what's in the picture.

Because nothing says "I'm going to the batting cages" like wearing a tie? :nest:

Kidding man, I like the idea of more live action shots. You should hope that I don't post too many cycling or running thrift fits.

Do these lapels look like they belong in another decade?

^^ It's the pattern more than the lapels. Lapels look fine to me.

Thanks for the input.

The lapels are just right but the pattern screams grandpa style which is pretty cool IMO!

The notch itself is a little large for me, and I think that dates it a bit.  But, yes, the pattern is certainly the bigger traffic stopper.  Though I love seeing someone pull off a vintage garment like that.  It takes skill, but when it is done, I tip whichever marvelous hat I'm wearing.

Hmm, you know I don't normally like the ol' sport coat and jeans combo, but I think, what with the color and the hair and the bracelet and you being a happenin' dude and all, this works.

Also...

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
