Need a 4th suit

work as a junior lawyer.

here are my 3 suits.

I'm picking up a 4th this weekend. Trying to decide on color. Not sure if I want a black one. I'm leaning towards another navy with stripes. thoughts?

if physique matters, i'm 6'4 slim, with reddish blonde hair.

thanks

edit: i should clarify and say it needs to be one of these options: https://ephapparel.com/category/suits

Charcoal Grey

Birdseye navy

Both good suggestions. You'll definitely want a solid, since of your three suits, two are patterned. I would recommend against the black. Black suits are generally not appreciated on this site, but I think particularly given your complexion it would not be a good choice.

isn't birdseye navy a pattern that appears solid?

It's a weave...I wouldn't really even call it a pattern. This is birdseye:

Yes, but it has a subtle interesting texture that is very classic and appealing. If you have redish blond hair stay away from light grey suits.

i'm leaning towards the fundamental charcoal suit.

It will even out your options

2 bules, one solid one striped

2 greys, one light one dark, one solid one glen plaid

4th suit - plain charcoal
5th suit - patterned navy

by getting a charcoal suit first, you would have two conservative suits in different shades (rather then two navy conservative suits)

i'm pretty sure i'll get this one:

depending on how i'm feeling about my finances i may also get this:

how does the shadow windowpane compare to a birdseye?

there's also a few customization options.

i don't plan on changing anything. 2 button, regular notch lapels, modern (slim) fit. is there anything i should consider customizing?

You mentioned that you're pretty slim, so the modern fit should be ok. I'm also a lawyer, so my advice would be to keep it conservative (no slanted pockets or narrow lapels).

I would veto a third grey suit. Navy pinstripes is a nice power suit.
