Tuesday Face-off!: Anden v. An Acute Style

StyFo peoples, I present to you the first user run Tuesday Face-off! The rules are simple. In a continuation of the StyleForum robot's random selection of dudes to face off in a one on one challenge, your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to vote for your favorite of these two fits.

The winner: The winner may select the next two people to face-off next tuesday. In this case the winner must set up and run the challenge as in the Friday Challenges, or may have me, or someone else, do it for them. If the winner does select the next to contestants, please post the challenge on, or about, Tuesday. Since the selection to participate in this contest was involuntary, if the winner does not wish to select the next two contestants, yours truly will do so again. I would also request, as others have, that you choose participants dressed at least somewhat similarly, because who wants to vote for blue jeans and a blazer v. a three piece suit?

Nice return of this topic.

Funnily enough, I don't think either shows these two posters in their best lights. Anden's square does little for the look, and AAS' cardy is a little too close in shade to the trousers for my liking. I think they're fairly equal in terms of end result, though you might say that since AAS' fit has a higher technical difficulty in terms of the patterns/colours, it should get my vote. But for me, they're both pretty equal in terms of how much I like them both.

I hear you though, but I think part of the fun of these battles is that we don't always get people at their best. Sometimes we get people on an off day, and that can be interesting. I'm not saying I think either of these guys is off, just making a small point.

Both jackets are great but, I didn't like the pant selection.

Win or lose, the honor of being a competitor is yours.

Well I feel honored to be put up against AAS whom I consider an inspiration.

^^^ If you actually HAD an ugly mug, bonus points would be due for showing it.

I like both fits, but give the nod to AAS on trousers and socks even though I'm not stuck on the horsebit loafers at all.

So what's going on? I come home from a hard day of teaching the kids to find I'm in a face off with Anden! Well thanks. I think... Anden has a great sense of style. This should be fun.
