The Return Of The (blank) v. (blank) Face-off!

Remember when the styleforum robot would select two people's fits and start a poll to decide whose was better? I loved those. It was a clever idea and generated a lot of discussion and fun. Especially for the two contestants selected. They don't seem to be doing that much around here anymore so I was thinking of reviving it. What does everyone think? Would it be appropriate for me to get the ball rolling by selecting two fits from recent WAYWRN posts and pitting them against each other in a poll for you all to vote on? Or do you think it's a boring concept? I'd say the winner would get to pic two more fits for the next poll, with an emphasis on trying not to pic two people who have recently faced off. I think we could post the fits on Tuesday, kind of a "Tuesday Challenge" and it would serve as a little bit of fun between "Friday Challenges". Thoughts?

I remember those as well and thought they were pretty cool. The trick is in picking somewhat evenly matched contestants.

This is exactly what I am striving for. I disliked it when two completely opposing outfits were selected.

I'd do it once a month rather than once a week. A couple of ways you could handle the poll, but you'd have a much bigger field as far as matching outfits and it would be a bit more educational as a result.

Already posted it as a weekly challenge, but you may be right. If it doesn't work out as a weekly thing I will go with monthly.
