Thin/slim/small watches

Hey all,

I've hit a wall trying to update my watch wardrobe. Seeing pictures of classic watches I'm hankering for a small watch myself, but I'm almost totally unable to find modern watches that fit my size profile. There is a thing right now for huge wrist watches and I know I can find VINTAGE watches that fit my desires, but I want a new watch. The only catch is that I don't want to pay more than 1k. Can anyone suggest a new watch that is as slim as possible and has a diameter of less than say, 32 mm? I suppose not smaller than 25, but something in that range.

I had been looking at the tank americanne, but it is utterly out of my price range.

In case anyone wants to ask, the movement isn't super important, I prefer gold but will take almost anything reasonable. I prefer rectangle shaped cases, but anything will do. But please have it be of reasonable quality. Thanks in advance SF!

Are you looking only for a mechanical movement?

If you like quartz, I'd recommend something out of the Citizen Stilletto collection. The japanese models (which can be found in the US) have some rose gold rectangular shaped...with solar powered internal batteries that don't need replacing1 And very thin!

Titan is an Indian company that makes a watch called Edge that is touted as the world's thinnest watch. I picked one up in Chennai on a business trip a couple of years ago and love it. I bought the metal band version and it literally feels like I'm wearing nothing but a bracelet. Even though all my other watches are automatics this is my go to watch when I wear tight cuffs.

Hamilton has a few different watches that are square. The Boulon has a vintage vibe and fits into your description.

Seconded, though their standard case size is 35mm with their smaller ones being 33mm.
Still, not a particularly discernible difference.

Love the look and features but they start well over a grand which is my breaking point. I'm willing to drop 1k. Surely there is a attractive, slim watch within my budget that isn't total junk. Right guys?

Whats your opposition to going used? You'll get a much better watch ad if you can increase your budget to $1500 or so your options are endless. Nomos, some vintage Cartier Tanks and Santos models, you name it.
