Is this the first time the selvedge canvas chinos have been dropped? If not, does anyone have feedback on them?

Stock store is fully loaded with new shirts. Looks like there may have been a lot of cancellations with previous Oxford and chambray offerings.

Anyone have the mustard chambray button down? Pics?

Dropped as in no longer running a campaign? This fabric is much better as a chino rather than the current denim run.

I recall @JR Magat had a pair of the Gustin ISC chinos.

Sorry for the miswording. Has it been run as a campaign before? Getting my Massdrop terminology mixed in to SF talk. Thanks for the feedback on the chinos being better than the denim run.

I've got a pair in chino. They are great, buy them for sure if they return, thank me later.

Does that fabric soften up any?

I had a shirt made of it from TS that I sent back, did not like how the fabric was so stiff.

Yep, had a pair and they were a very nice material.  However, I sold them bc I just had too many navy chinos/pants and I try not to wear cuffed chinos for work (besides on Fridays)

Gustin uses the washed ISC from Cone. Not sure if it's a Cone or sewing production wash. Regardless, yes they are soft, more so after a couple washes. I wouldn't consider them rigid. The hand is actually a bit silky feeling. They didn't crock much of at all.
Really a great fabric but doesn't iron well in terms of leaving shiny spots, use a t shirt overtop and high steam. Maybe send them to the cleaners next time. Have kind of put them away for summer.

I wish they did offer the ISC chinos raw rather than washed.

Yes I have the #240 Cone Selvage Canvas which were sewn up as jeans like the current run. Great looking dark indigo fabric if you are into canvas. The weave is quite noticeable and they do look different from any kind of denim jeans. I like them, but I guess it's a down to personal taste and your appetite for something a bit different. If they did these as a chino that would certainly be more conventional.

On Gustin's advice I sized up one from my normal size and that worked out just right.

Can't speak for others, but I can't really comment on mine as I've only tried it on a couple times before hanging it up for the season.  It will be triple digit highs for a while here, so I won't have much to say until November or so.

Edit:  It has made my closet smell wonderful for the past couple weeks, so theres that.
