I really like the look of the Double Wrap Wristband with simple natural leather. Has anyone seen this released in the last year? I haven't. Its been in my "Waiting for" box for a long time.

@joshgustin Please consider selling the leather wristband again and other leather products. There is a big hole in the market for these kind of bracelets other than Etsy and that's mostly buyer beware.

Anyone have some recommendations for leather wristbands other than Gucci at $600?

Try etsy.  There are multiple great leather workers on that site who make custom belts, wallets, bags, and other leather goods.  I've bought some really nice leather belts that way, custom made to my specs.  I'm sure one of those guys would be happy to make you a leather wristband.  And they have lots of awesome leather varieties.

[edit - I just reread your post and somehow missed you already used etsy and didn't like it.  I've had great luck with it.]

I have a Slim 30 I got because the same size fit me well in the Japan military twill, but these are unreasonably tight. Would love to trade for a 31 if anyone is interested.

Has anyone let the waist out on these? I think there's only fabric in the side seams and roughly 0.5" per side. Not sure about rear seam.

Beautiful fabric, though.

Damn, I got a pair on the way.  Hope mine aren't too tight...  I thought given the weight they'd sew up on the larger side.

Are these from the most recent order? I'm still waiting for mine - no shipping notification yet. Hoping they get here in the next week so I can take them on vacation with me!

Forum member @zissou owns the Etsy shop Summit Creek Dry Goods (https://www.etsy.com/shop/summitcreekdrygoods) and makes excellent leather goods. I own a couple of his belts as well as a double-wrap bracelet that I wear daily.

To keep things relevant to the thread, also pictured is the Gustin NATO watch strap in natural leather. It's darkened up beautifully, and I get a ton of compliments on it.

That looks awesome on your black-faced Seiko 5. I have a light colored face with a veg-tanned (almost white) watchstrap I ordered off eBay that looks pretty good too:

It's not a nato version though like the Gustin, though maybe they'd make one...

Deusis on here makes wallets/watch straps, etc using shell/ CXL/ etc. he could do it

I looked at the one you got on Etsy, but I arbitrarily wanted the full NATO strap with the foldy-overy part even though it's neither necessary (I never wear it over a parka) nor practical (sometimes the end of the strap comes out of the loop meant to hold it in place).

The only thing I'm less crazy about with the Gustin strap is that it's really thin and therefore stretches a bit. OTOH, if it was really thick it probably wouldn't work as a NATO strap. Or maybe it's more of a Zulu / NATO hybrid since the hardware is rounded.

RE: Sweatshirts

Anyone have a review for them? How they fit, quality, etc?

Thinking about ordering one.

Thanks in advance!

If you're somewhere that has a Tandy Leather (or similar), go visit, buy some tools and snaps, stop by the scrap bin (or if you want 100 wristbands, buy a hide). Then make them for all your friends that want one, turn your initial investment into a sort of group buy.

I've seen one off comments but a thorough write up would be appreciated on my end too. Hopefully someone can offer some comparisons with RC and the like - especially on size/cut

I really wish they would offer some bag options with the Dublin and #8 in a non-tote style.  It's a menswear brand how many people are buying that.  Give us some other options Gustin.  I could never leave the house with a tote.

Totally.  I've spent plenty of time admiring the leather on those totes and then deciding I couldn't use it but wished I could.

Anyone get an update not the selvedge wheat chinos? I haven't heard anything since Feb 19th when they stated the pants are being sewn.  @joshgustin

Feb 19 was only 2 weeks ago.  It's typically over a month between when sewing starts and when an item is shipped and received.  So probably you will need to be patient for a few more weeks.  :brick:   I know its difficult.  :deadhorse:
