I'd be surprised if the Gustin offering would be in the same price range - I'd expect them to undercut it given their production model. Of course, a lot depends on the leather options being offered as well...

Agree, if its in the same price range as Aero I probably would not buy

Just got the graphite twill 12oz as well.

They feel nearly identical to my brown duck canvas which I am super happy about because I love my brown duck canvas chinos.

I finally sized up in shirt to a size large as the medium was too small.  Classic large seems to be fitting well, I might need to get the torso altered a bit, but rest is pretty good.   I think it is this style shirt from the grab bag.

Does anybody know if there is an ID on the shirt for the style ID like on the jeans and chinos?  If so where is it?

The shirts unfortunately do not have a label with the campaign number, or if it does, I've never been able to find it.

Which models are you looking at? The Aero model closest to this style (highwayman) is roughly $900 if you order directly through them with the current exchange rates, over 1k if you use Thurston, and 1200 if you want the slimmer "premier" model (probably a closer fit comparison to the Gustin model). I was assuming Aero was one of the companies Gustin was speaking to when they were discussing the 1k price point.

Gustin Black x Grey Twill. Aka the "Darth Maul". Okay not really. And it's actually charcoal, not a deep black which is actually fantastic.

if it was a bleeder you could rename it "The Black Knight."

Wow - you seem to be right - I was recalling prices from memory, and it seems both ELC and and Aero have jacked theirs up considerably since I last checked.

ELC has the Hartmann, which has gone up all the way to a whopping 700£ (~1000 USD), and Aero's Highwayman goes for 620£ (~900$) as you stated. Same for the Happy Days and Cafe racer models, which are probably the closest to the Gustin design.

Aero does seem to have a spiffy Type 3 suede jacket for only 450£, though, but that seems to be the only thing in the ~700 price category these days.

So yeah, I guess ~700$ish for a Gustin version in roughly equivalent leathers doesn't suddenly sound so odd anymore.

It sounds like they're aiming to be less than $1,000

I am same boat, but paying for a real full grain leather jacket vs. Genuine Leather jackets is very interesting to me.  With real full grain leather jackets as they age they patina and get nicer vs. what you get a Wilsons leather that may even be bonded leather.....

Any news on the materials, price or colors yet?

Thanks,

Concerning jeans: Gustin is realsing the cone broken twill and I am really tempted, although I find it a little bit on the light weight side. What would you guys recommend? Can someone share his experience/thoughts?

Wrangler sells 13oz broken-twill raw denim milled in the USA for $20 on Amazon. It's not selvedge though... \

Sorry, looks like the fabric for the Wranglers is made at Mt Vernon Mills in Trion, GA (not Cone)

Link? PM is fine.

selvedge is not by itself an indications of quality though.

Anyone else get the Indigo Selvedge Canvas chinos?

I have a Slim 30 I got because the same size fit me well in the Japan military twill, but these are unreasonably tight. Would love to trade for a 31 if anyone is interested.

Has anyone let the waist out on these? I think there's only fabric in the side seams and roughly 0.5" per side. Not sure about rear seam.

Beautiful fabric, though.

I really like the look of the Double Wrap Wristband with simple natural leather. Has anyone seen this released in the last year? I haven't. Its been in my "Waiting for" box for a long time.

@joshgustin Please consider selling the leather wristband again and other leather products. There is a big hole in the market for these kind of bracelets other than Etsy and that's mostly buyer beware.

Anyone have some recommendations for leather wristbands other than Gucci at $600?
