$20 shipping though. Never bought a jacket from them before. Is that normal? I had actually backed this jacket and was going through checkout til I saw that, then backed out.

That looks fun for anything, pants, shirt, jacket.

I'm thinking that would make a sweet workshirt, heavy fabric, no break in.

Just backed the Zimbabwe. Originally ordered the Okayama standard (1st pair) but had to return them for credit because they were a size too big. At least I should be nailing the size with the Zimbabwe now. Anyone have any comments on the Zimbabwe?

Would that not defeat the purpose of a workshirt though?  A silk blend fabric?  I thought the workshirts were primarily designed with the intent to be rugged and ready to take a beating.  They don't seem exactly office appropriate with the hanging stitching at the sides and the extended collar tab.  I suppose it depends on where you work and if your boss is a millenial.  I don't know too much about the functionality of those pieces though.

Got a Gustin Oxford yesterday.  I went with a basic white oxford just to benchmark the size and fit in Gustin for potential future shirts.

I like the weight in the material in the shirt.  I'm not sure about the fit here.  I went with a Slim Large

It is fitted but not snug.  A bit of pull in the second button.  A litte tight in the shoulders so I'm concerned that if I wash it and dry it on low will it be too tight on me.  I feel I maybe should have gotten a Regular Large instead so I may return this.

Agree that the chest looks a little tight. You can probably get the waist taken in/darts put in in the back.

You definitely need more space in the chest, so I'd recommend going to a Slim XL or Classic L. On the Slim XL you might need to have a tailor deal with the length, on a Classic L you'll need a tailor to put darts in to slim it up in the waist/hem and deal with the billowing in the back (which you may also need on the Slim XL, from the look of it)

So my experience is that from the packaging the shirts feel a bit more snug but after a wash/sending to cleaners the chest feels a lot better. My shirts look like yours in the chest when they are new. The washing process allows the shirt to lay better across the front.

I recommend against keeping a shirt thats a bit tight before washing.  Return that one in new condition for store credit and move up to a classic large.  I had to do the same thing for the same reason.  My chest is 42-43" so I can't fit in the Gustin Classic Medium or Slim Large.  I also had stress on the top few buttons.

Taking a stab in the dark, but...

If anyone is interested in swapping a Medium Sweatshirt for a Large, PM me.

Hoping you're on point with this.  I just received a Classic L which was more or less correct in the chest (though I will need it tailored in the waist), but I am concerned when I wash it that it will shrink to an unacceptable level.

I love my small olive green version and would like to buy a matching large version!

Thanks

Thanks to Gustin for reposting the waxed canvas duffles! Backed the olive.

Great product, highly recommended.

Good to know.  Thinking about the olive or brown.  Fabric sufficiently heavy?  Any thoughts on water resistance and how it ages?  Thanks.
