Haha, from Madewell.  She's worn it a bunch of times but never noticed until now.  Don't know what that says about our marriage, lol.

I agree with the lightweight fabric, though I still think I prefer the look of long sleeves.  I just backed the black waffle henley, but I only get about 2 months a year to wear heavyweight stuff around here.

Where are you buying Common Projects for half the price of Vans?

I believe he meant gustin is half the price of CP.

I've had a ton of Vans over the years and they are honesty shit. My last 2 pairs of AO's lasted a couple months. I treat them like the 40$ shoes they are, so I will take responsibility for a lot of it.

Another benefit is you get to look your age with Gustins.  Van's are primarily a young persons shoe.  If you're outta college, people really should be looking for any improvement on vans, with the exception of beater shoes.  The price is worth it for the material upgrade and not having to walk around in vans as an adult.

Did they sew-up small or is the material so dense that they feel more snug?

The bluexblack is a few mm short of a 34 waist after a 13 hour wear. Id say its a pretty unforgiving material especially in the waist.

I'm waiting on my #205 Japan BlueXBlack.  Though I diligently sized them compared to a perfect fitting pair of Levis 511's, I've dropped 10lbs in anticipation.  I'll probably be down another 5lbs by the time they come in. LOL

I found the bluexblack to be quite comfortable and broke in great. The give in the waist definitely comes. Agreed they do sew up small though
