My supple 16:s have shrunk 1½-2" on the inseam. I need to pull & stretch them out after each wash when damp, or else they're too short and basically unwearable. Pretty borderline as-is. Would definitively not have anything hemmed until after a few warm washes.

I got a shipping notification for my rainbow nep chambray shirt today. Man I can't wait to get that thing in!

Anyone have experience with Gustin Sneakers?

Is it the white version? If so, can you or someone else post a pic once received?  I'm always curious how the rainbow nep chambray in white looks.  I have an indigo chambray version from Epaulet that I wear regularly

I just have the Horween color 8 low tops, and I haven't had any issues with them & love the color 8 leather.  There were some posts a few pages back about issues with the white low-top leather (dry, cracking) so hopefully Gustin was able to address that.

As for sizing, I have CP low achilles in size 8 (41) and Gustin size 8 and I would say they fit pretty much identical.  Calling Gustin sneakers as "CP ripoffs" is not far from the truth because I think they are almost identical in look/fit; which is a good thing IMO.  I would think size 7 would be good for you.  I am 8.5 TTS and 8 Gustin is perfect.

Heavy black x coal workshirt looks great. Not surprising that it's > 70% funded already.

This is one of the reasons my previous comment came up.

I posted a review a few weeks ago of two different Gustin sneakers.  I had to return them both due to non-flat footbeds that I could feel through the insole padding.  I'm holding off on ordering any more Gustin sneakers until I hear conclusive resolution of the systematic issue (affected both shoes in two different builds of two different styles).  Footbed in the shoe must be flat without dips, ridges, or bumps that deviate from the shape of a foot.

Hoping my Gustin boots do not suffer from anything like this, but they are from a different factory and built with a different construction process so hopefully they will be fine.  Assuming I ever receive them!  tick tick tick . . . supposedly arrived from the mfg in December and were delayed on shipping due to the holiday.  But now its a month later and still no shipment.

You should be sizing up for Gustin compared to most other brands.  Their shirts run small.  I wear XL in almost everything including Taylor Stitch, and wear an XXL in Gustin.  My dress shirt size is 17 x 36, not sure if that helps any.  Could not go any smaller and have tried previously to make an XL work but it was too thin/uncomfortable.  When I wore J-Crew, I wore an XL slim, and that fit well although a bit loose with some room to spare.  Gustin XXL is comparable, but slightly smaller I'd say.  When in doubt with Gustin, size up always.

I took my time looking over size charts this afternoon from jcrew, Gustin and Taylor Stitch and ended up gong with an XXL so you're advice validates the choice and I appreciate your post. Thanks very much,

Mike

Agreed & price is perfect. If I hadn't bought the Japan Black workshirt from the stock store a few months back I wouldn't hesitate on this. Mine is 13oz & would love to see this 16oz workshirt!

And its funded! That is pretty insane.
