what about a #118 super heavy workshirt?

Yes, it's a classic indigo/white setup, but a super soft 18oz selvedge WS seems like a really cool idea. The fabric is like denim sweatpants and would super wearable right away - probably with a great drape too

Definitely contact Gustin as suggested and they will likely take care of you somehow.  I don't have the white low tops, but I don't have the issues with my Horween color 8 low tops; leather is sourced differently but hopefully this is a rare occurrence.

I love them and think they're one of our most finely made garments, but it seems to be more of a niche product among our customers. We try to be sensitive to what works for our factory as well. Sending them very small amounts of a style is hard for them to handle.

I'm game to run them again for this crew. You guys drum up some demand, I'll run the campaign and we can see how it goes. We need to get at least 100 orders to make it reasonable to send to our sewer. Sound good? If yes, point me in the direction of some fabric you'd like and I'll come back with options.

I am going to go against what some of the others have posted here as I havn't had a chance to grab a traditional work shirt from you.

I am thinking something like the Japan Union Blue with Orange stitching!

A pure classic work shirt.

That #67 Wheat Selvedge Chino is really a steal. Couldn't resist backing it!

I'm trying to figure out if these somehow snuck past QA...

These are the first batch and have only been worn 4 times briefly around town since I've gotten them.

Stains inside the shoe

Leather around the punched eyelets cracking

Leather that is dry and cracking

If you scan back a week or two you'll find posts from me including photos of the same brown stains on two different pairs of Gustin sneakers.  The stains are bad but not disastrous since they do get covered by the insoles.  But I had to return my two pair due to uneven ridges in the shoe footbed that pressed through into my foot when I was trying them on.  Did you feel any uneven ridges or low and high points on the footbed either when wearing or after removing the insole?

I also reported unusual surface wrinkles in the leather in some pieces but not all.  Maybe this is due to some dry hides or less that optimal tanning process?

Maybe a few kinks to work out on these shoes, which isn't surprising.  Hope my inferno boots due any day come in clean!

Thanks guys. I had actually wanted to cuff these pants but I forgot to specify when I dropped them for hemming. However they did such a nice job on the blind hem that I couldn't complain.

re: gustin sneakers Color 8 low tops

Very satisfied.
Amazing color.
No qc issues... I.e. No bumps in footpad as previously reported. No " dry" leather as previously reported, though to me that is normal unless you want corrected grain. No irregularity around lace holes as previously reported, though to me that is expected as it is present on all my cp's

Sizing- got 8. Perfect fit. Slight more room in forefoot than cp 41 though not longer. For reference Alden Barrie 8; c&j 7.5 335 last skye3, 9 Nike

The rather nice looking organic cotton T needs some backers. Ends in about 18 hours.

You don't need to run a campaign on here every time Gustin has a product you like.  Between this and your boots post a few days ago, with pics and descriptions that can be found on their website, you might as print up some flyers and put them on car windshields.  Everyone who reads this Gustin thread is aware that they are a clothing company and has access to the same info you do.  If they want to back a product, they will make that determination.  Also, pretty much everything gets funded.  Especially basic T's and the footwear.  They are constantly running because people seem to want them.  Don't worry about the funding bar, they all make it, except when they don't (almost never).

Yeah, I am pretty sure they tactically float progress bars on select products... on one hand, grants completion, on the other, gives them some sample stock, which comes in handy when folks want to swap or return items for something other than cash.
