The demand seems to be there

We have seen reasonable materials roll through in other forms, so there is no shortage of material.

And even at that you don't have to offer 10 variations.  Offer 2 or 3 over the course of a 3-4 weeks.

But, if you want a plaid shirt you can have any of the 100 that campaign monthly...

I'd agree if Gustin hadn't said the reason they don't offer many workshirts is because they don't sell fast enough.

Im betting he needs a half inch just to get them to not look silly while standing- imagine sitting with something in the pockets?

I'm really sorry, I don't mean to be negative, I'm just really suspicious that those will ever fit properly.

I hope so as well for his sake that they stretch out comfortably. I just put mine on after work and then do squats around for a few minutes and then do like high knees and do butt kickers in place. It helps stretch the pants out and then gets your body warm which will help the pants mold better to the body

Now that would be an awesome Gustin fabric!  Can we get that in a workshirt please?  ;)

But seriously, they look comfortably spacious for MrVenneri.

One of my best friends has the same problem.  He has been trying to break in a pair of Gustin straight Cone stretch jeans (yes, its shocking and blasphemous, but they have made them) and he has large upper leg muscles.  I think the Gustin's have beat him into submission and he's giving up on raw denim.  He's back in his 7 stretch jeans which is a damn shame.  I may not be able to hang out with him anymore.

Aww guys, I appreciate your words of encouragement and kind wishes...but seriously, they fit like a glove!

But seriously, after wearing those Chinese finger traps for 8 hours my legs were relieved to breathe fresh air again...almost as much as my genitals which I'm certain are now permanently steril (Sorry mom! No grandkids in your future).

Somewhere in the midst of lunge laps around my kitchen island or sumo squats in my living room I began to contemplate the ideal body type Gustin had in mind while designing their jeans. I landed on Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas...Long pencil thin legs that could utilize all 30 feet of the inseam and a crotch that hangs no more than 3 inches past his belly button. In fact, upon pealing my jeans off like a condom I seriously checked to ensure I wasn't sold a women's by accident.

Actually, this whole thing made me think up a question.  I know some people will have their denim tapered, is it possible for a tailor to widen the thigh or crotch area?

Edit: I'm thinking like the way Levis 511 Commuters have that extra panel in the crotch.

That does not sound pleasant.

Did you measure all the dimensions and compare to the fit guide?  You should do so to make sure you received the right size and that its made to spec.

What size are we looking at? Give us an idea of what thigh width you actually need. Than we can make some recommendations.

Great question! I will measure once the wife wakes up as to not disturb her...but I'll follow up on that.

I'll measure one of my pairs of dress pants that I had MTM in just a bit...but as a frame of reference.

Upper thigh circumference - 26"

Mid thigh circumference - 24.5"

Just above knee - 18.5"

Hip circumference - 44"

Yeah, I have thunder thighs, and had to adjust my G sizing. I wear a 35 in JCrew 1040 (best fit), and had to size up to gustin 38 classic, then have the waist taken in. Those indigos are particularly heavy fabric, and will take a minute to break in. Mine are still a little tight and starchy.

I guess I should just move on to other brands, but the whole G ordering experience is fun and addicting.

So I was in the middle of putting away Christmas decorations this morning when I found a Tyvek bag with Gustin on the shipping label in the spare bedroom. It seems I had forgotten that I received one of the new style two-pocket shirts in mid December. It's one of the heavy flannels....Merry Christmas to me all over again!
