I did use a wooden clothes hanger in the waistband (lucked out that it was about 35" so minimal stretching back out needed), but the legs/thighs/etc were solid. I think the point is, they suggest sizing up 2-3 because it will shrink 1 size or so, but they sewed up a size smaller. They won't shrink 2 sizes.

Gotcha, looks like the 38s would be too big for me.  Thanks!

I'm not sure how to send a message to Gustin. I thought it was @ josh_gustin but I didn't find that member.

I'm really hoping Gustin could find a beautiful, true white selvedge jean. Any hopes of finding something in a summer jean, maybe 12 oz. I'm not a big fan of natural and I think if you found a beautiful, slightly fuzzy, high starch white selvedge summer jean it would be a big favorite.

And come on new chino fabrics!

Gustin has some selvedge chinos like the indigo selvedge canvas (ISC), and khaki/olive selvedge: https://www.weargustin.com/store/1245

I actually have all 3 and they are on the lighter weight side (under 10 oz?) so they're not that stiff material you're looking for.  Their heavier chinos are great though, and one of my favorites is this military green twill chino that I got awhile back: https://www.weargustin.com/store/804

Anybody have a review of the Gustin boots yet??  I actually found a good deal on some Red Wing Brogue Iron Ranger boots so might go that route now, but later I could still buy the Gustin Brown boots if these get good reviews.

I don't think any have shipped yet.

I've not worn a tennis shoe/sneaker in years.  I wear mostly medium to higher end boots.

The quality of these Gustin Low Tops is great for a sneaker.  I love the leather interior and exterior construction.  Looks and feels solid and high quality.

Fit is good and I'd say right on spec.  I'm a 10C but sometimes find myself in 9.5D or 10.5B.  These Gustins are 10's and they fit me well.  I can see why people with wide feet (E+) may feel the width is too tight.  A D width should be fine and the shoe will conform to the foot.  I would say B-D widths should order their standard length, rounding to the nearest whole number.

One quality observations was that the white leather has some unusual wrinkles that I don't prefer.  I don't think its a huge deal and I'll watch to see how it appears as the shoes break in and wear.  Maybe I can take a good before wear photo and post.

I love some of the darker leathers such as the Horween #8 and Horween Dublin.  But I'm not sure I love the combo of the thick white sole edge with the darker leather.

Do you have any pictures of the shoes? And maybe the wrinkles that you don't prefer? I've been thinking about getting them, but haven't been able to find too many pictures. Or if anyone else had pictures of their white tops that'd be great too!

I thought all Gustin chinos were pre-washed. Some raw chinos would be great.

I see the Japan White Oxford being crowdsourced now.  Does anyone have a pic of them wearing an oxford shirt in say slim fit?  I may jump on this.

I ordered the #8 CXL belt from the stock sale and was surprised to find a belt that was lacking the rich red-brown tones featured in the #8 CXL belt and footwear campaigns
As you'll note from the picture, the belt more closely matches the cognac calf than the #8 shell cordovan.
Any comments from those who've received their #8 belts?

Aside from the colour, the belt itself is quite desireable.

My belt was definitely more reddish in tone.

I'm pretty sure the item in the photo above is the Brown Horween CXL Belt

https://www.weargustin.com/store/1531

I have this belt and it looks pretty much exactly like that.  I suspect Gustin mixed it up with the #8 Horween CXL Belt you ordered and sent the wrong one.

Have to say I wasn't impressed at all with the CXL belt. I ordered it last year and returned it because it was thin and plasticky. I ordered one from someone off Etsy and it was thick, supple, and what I'd expect from a nice, durable leather belt. That said, my new Gustin shirts (gauzy multistripe and crosshatch chambray) are both fantastic.

I have three Gustin belts.

Brown Heavyweight Belt: This is a great uniquely thick and wide belt and therefore stiff belt.  Its huge and impressive.  I'm sure there are other online companies making belts like thisbut I've never seen anything like it in a store.  You've got to be looking for this sort of style statement to like it.  If you are, you will be happy with the product and quality.  Otherwise you will probably say WTF!?  haha   I have no regrets about owning this belt and recommend it if you want the big natural color belt look.

Brown Horween CXL Belt:  Quality is good and solid.  This is a two layer construction, sewn together.  Counting both layers it is one of the thickest belts in my large collection so I don't understand the comment above about it being thin.  I wouldn't describe it as plasticky but somehow I don't LOVE it as much as other belts.  Maybe something about the two layers with the darker brown horween outer and light inner layer?  It doesn't feel supple and awesome but I've not been wearing it often so its not broken in yet.  I don't know.  I might grow to love it over time as it breaks in, or maybe there is something wrong with the texture.  The construction quality is very high, better than what I see in the stores.

Classic Belt - Black:  This belt is thin and feels flimsy compared to the other two and most of my other belts.  I have lots of similar black belts I like better.  I probably should have returned this one but I didn't bother and decided the buckle was sufficiently unique that I kept it.  But given the better belt options in the universe, I don't recommend this belt.
