Might have spoke too soon on that. They are not more narrow but the leather upper just seems to wrap the foot a bit more snug (not by much, just feels that way) - works fine for me but might vary by feet. These are basically CP clones and you're probably right about the soles possible being the exact same

Quality seems great and they feel/look really well made as you'd expect. I'll see how they wear and feel when take them out. As for comparison to EP, I think quality is on par but asthetic I prefer the shape of Gustin/CP.

Outside of tennis trainers, Epaulet has some killer leather options and styles in the sneaker dept that set them apart; sport trainer, cordovan, different color combinations.

(Common Projects = white)

Wait, u find the G classic slimmer in the chest than a jarred slim?

Sorry, i can see where what I typed can be confusing... haha

Here is based of what's tighter fit (IMO):

Gustin Classic > J.Crew Regular fit

Gustin Classic < J.Crew Slim fit

Gustin Slim > J.Crew Slim fit

Yeah, I really like the leather that epaulet uses. Great colors

Thank you for your effort taking these side by side photos.  It's a great help determining how they will work for me.  The color 8 shoe is as fantastic as one could have hopped for.  Unfortunately, they look a bit too narrow to me.  I'm going to have to start a grassroots email campaign imploring gustin to consider wide sizes.

PS- That's a great shoe lineup you have going there!

Damn all these Agustin sneakers are making me really sad they don't come in half sizes!! congrats to all!

Width comparison is irrelevant as the nongustins have been worn... Width will increase... Not so much for length

@raddoc is correct where the other two sneakers are worn so probably have some stretching.  I will say they all feel pretty similar when worn and are all comfortable; I wear medium width sneaker/dress shoes FWIW.  I measure 8.5D on the Brannock and size 8 works well for me and length-wise is the same as the euro 41 Common Projects and the 8.5 Epaulet pair.  I think the ones that are concerned are people that normally wear E-width

Helpful comparison photos, thanks.

I like the asymmetry of the CP.  Note how it curves more inward while the Gustin and Epaulet are more straight and symmetric.

The Epaulet looks really stubby and wide in those photos.  I hadn't noticed that about their shoes before when looking at them alone.  I don't like it.  But maybe I wouldn't have noticed under normal conditions.

I went so far as to back a pair of black hi tops, only to cancel over sizing worries. I'm typically a UK 9 / EU 43, but on the small / narrow side of this so in some shoes take a uk 8.5 / EU 42.5.

I've three pairs of Converse in slightly different sizes which due to the flexible material all work for me.

Smallest are labelled mens 9, wos 11 uk 9 eur 42.5 cm 27.5 (strange the UK and mens size are the same, assume mens is US size). These are slightly tight but not uncomfortable to wear at all

Middle pair labelled mens 9.5, wos 11, US9.5, Eur 43, mm 285 - best fit for me

Largest pair labelled Mens 10, wos 11.5, Uk9, EU 44, Jpn 28 - slighlty large, but lace up fine and are comfortable to wear.

Going by the Gustin guide, a 9.5 would be ideal, but Gustin don't do halves so the guide would indicate a 10 for me. Reports say the Gustins run a little large, so I thought the Gustin 9 would be best, perhaps a little snug, and the Gustin 10s perhaps just a little large. As for the converse, the soft material should allow a certain tolerance, slightly small would stretch, but too big would be worse if heel didn't grip etc...

Anyone shed any more detailed light on the sneaker sizing?

I am a 10.5 in pretty much everything, sometimes an 11 in Nike Dunks.

I ordered the Gustin slip on sneakers in a 10 to wear for the summer and they fit perfect with room to spare.

I just backed black high top and white lows in 10. Hoping these should be fine, these will be worn with socks unlike the slip ons.

Ok now I'm really confused. Do you mean classic G fits in between regular crew and slim?
