Thanks, knowing your pair look the same helps. I think that must be it! I thought it said "285" but it must be "185".

If yours are the Japan One Sevens you'll know just by holding them in your hands. They're 17oz jeans and pretty stiff

They're extremely stiff and fold like nothing else I've owned. Weight-wise though they feel not much heavier than my raw "cowboy" Wranglers.

@gustin - any chance of a vertical (non-diagonal) alignment on the Indigo Jacquard Workshirt on offer right now?

So I rag on gustin for their stupid scoops and stupid high armholes and stupid chainstich runoff for rich nerds working in offices making people click on ads, but I just received the navy american chino and I am stunned by the quality!

Any tips on hemming them? should I cuff?

Also, any tips on what pair to get next? I need a lighter color chino. I was thinking the Japan true khaki chino, the Japan original khaki chino, or the khaki selvedge twill. any thoughts?

Had to laugh at this because I'm at my standing desk in my home office drinking hand-poured coffee wearing a RRL selvedge workshirt with chainstitch runoff right this moment.

I consider myself more of a middle-class nerd, though, and I work in market analytics, not digital marketing.

And now, back to the spreadsheets.

Speaking of workshirts, @joshgustin, when can we expect to see Cone selvedge canvas workshirts in the fabric used for these chinos? https://www.weargustin.com/store/2180

Has anyone received Gustin boots yet? They look nice at a $199 price point, just curious about the size and fit.

Get in on the American Sand right now, great value.

They ran that fabric in a workshirt before they ran it in a Chino.

I could be wrong here, but that one was indigo x navy (https://www.weargustin.com/store/2321) and I believe the chino fabric was indigo x indigo. They described the workshirt fabric as identical to the food tray fabric but with a navy fill rather than the recycled food tray fill, which is different from how they described the canvas they used for the chinos.

Really? When did that happen? I can't believe I missed it

You guys are right.  It was this I remembered - https://www.weargustin.com/store/2171

Originally made it up in Denim fit, I requested they make it in Chino fit.

Not yet. The last update reads:

"Production status: 11/4: Boots are in full production. The leather has been cut the boots are starting to come together. Orders still slated to ship in late November to mid-December."

Which is consistent with their Nov/Dec estimate. Can't wait to get mine. I'll definitely report back when I do!

hope they'll move into CXL rather than their normal 'sienna' unnamed leather

How is the American Sand? I'm thinking about it. I'm worried that its too light--I had almost cream colored khakis before and felt I could only wear them when its super hot out. Thanks!

Isn't the CXL stuff really marked up comparatively? I mean, I know nothing of the sienna stuff or it's qualities, but I also know CXL is really hyped (I love the stuff and own way too much of it, don't get me wrong!). What don't you like about the sienna (and have we even seen any of it yet)?

As an upper middle-class nerd who works in internet marketing, I like the arm holes.
