I've paid $23 International shipping for each of my #116 IDs (received) and #2 Graphites (soon...).

Have things changed, or are you combining the price of shirt and shipping, or ?

I see no one answered this. Cody mentioned during the last Grab Bag a few weeks ago that this would probably be the last GB for a while. Considering the last one was in March, I would guess the next one won't be until the end of the year.

And no chinos have shipped as far as I know (I'm in on the first batch), so no one has sizing reviews and they definitely won't be in any Grab Bags for a while.

No it was a chore coat. Priced at $113 and then +$75 for shipping. I was ready to buy it too but that just put me off.

That is too much - contacted Gustin?

That's pretty ridiculous...makes me wonder if they're just trying to make a little extra due to their low prices.

Seriously doubt it.

This is a stupid comment. If their profit margin hinged on making a few extra $$ on shipping to Canada then their busies would be doomed.

I doubt it as well, especially since they don't do it with their other items.

Where are you in Canada? It's $60 to Vancouver. I agree it's ridiculous and with some investment and effort I'm sure they can get the Canadian and international rates down. Also, the jacket isn't that much more substantial compared to a pair of jeans. I don't see how shipping jeans vs the chore coat is a $40 increase.

Oxblood sold out in what, 5 seconds?

Shipping to Canada can be so expensive that here in Maine, some Canadians have things sent here.  This is the case for high end stuff, like guitars.

Gustin has no control over shipping costs to Canada.

They do have some control over shipping costs.

By opting to ship via padded envelopes instead of flat rate boxes the costs are brought way down.

Cody at Gustin told me that that option may become the go to for international customers.

I'm all for it, these things are not so delicate as to require boxes.

I'd be curious about the number of buyers in Canada. I doubt it would even move the profit margin needle to increase the shipping. This isn't a slight toward our Canuckistan residents, just wondering.

I would have been all over the oxblood 2s....if they were the same price as the original oxblood, not 45 bucks more...

I've gotten all my stuff in padded envelopes.

They can also stop using priority international and use a cheaper service. I shipped my Oak Street Bootmaker boots (bigger and heavier than anything Gustin will ship) from Vancouver to North Carolina and it only cost me $25 with the cheapest service with tracking. Yeah it took close to 10 business days but when we're already waiting 2 months sometimes more, whats another 2 weeks? I don't believe they're cheating us on international shipping, but they are definitely being inefficient.
