I have Gustin and J Crew slim, both in Medium. I agree the fits are similar. My J Crew has a bit more room in the neck and upper chest than the Gustin.

Thanks. The J Crew slim are a little long in the sleeves for me. Do you find that Gustin's sleeves are smaller or larger?

Got the color 8 belt today. Very impressed with the quality of leather and craftsmanship. Well done, Gustin.

On the shirt sizing topic, how does the Gusting medium compare to the Epaulet or WvG medium? The chest seems a little roomy in the Gustin. Everything else looks great

Also just noticed that the medium chore coat has a smaller chest than a medium shirt....?

I feel like the Gustin shirts would be an amazing value if they fixed the hem.

They say "The length hits just right so it looks great tucked or untucked. Scooped out sides give the untucked look a bit of extra style", which I think is totally wrong.

It curves up way too high on the sides, which means it's too short to tuck in, but looks goofy when untucked because the front and back are so long. Also, when wearing it untucked, the sides will likely come up above the belt line when sitting down unless you size up.

^^ I think there was talk about that in the Epaulet thread too, supposedly correct.

Darn new page - referring to shirt chest dimensions being larger than jacket.

I'm a little over 6 foot, and I have an easy time tucking the large in. I had it taken in on the sides and it looks fantastic tucked. Though I agree that I wish they would fix that scoop, at least on their flannels and workshirts.

Am I the only one who thinks the denim fits a bit too snug on the crotch? Maybe it's just me :o

I had this problem because I wasn't used to low-rise jeans. I kept trying to hike up the waist. Once I accepted my fate and let the jeans sit lower, there was plenty of room in the crotch.

On the subject of shirt fitting, I'd second that the medium Gustin is similar tot hat of a JCrew slim medium. That said, I still have to have both of them altered at the tailor
