I don't own any of the black denim so I'm not exactly sure what you're in for, but in my experience yes there is some dye transfer. The amount will differ from pair to pair. I'd definitely give them a soak before wearing.

I have the Japan BlackXBlacks, never soaked or washed them, and I don't see any dye bleed. Also, fortunately, there is no sulphur smell.

I have the Japan 13er and the Okayama standard. The 13ers bleed like crazy all over. I soaked them twice and finally washed them once and they still bleed. The Okayama's don't seem to bleed much though. I soaked them once and I get no blue on my hands like the 13ers.

About to pull the trigger on the black slubby chambray shirt.  Is there anything I should know before purchasing my first Gustin shirt in terms of sizing or fit?

Well, check their fit guide and read the last 20 pages regarding what people like/dislike about the fit and construction. A ton of it is preference, so keep that in mind.

Same here. I have the BlackxBlack and Black3 and didn't notice any dye transfer. In fact, I rubbed both pairs with white paper to check, and nothing. The Indigo offerings though, they definitely rub off like any other raw denim.

Got the Chore jacket in charcoal, size small and I feel it's too small for me. Does anyone with a medium feel like swapping? Thanks

Did you check with Gustin? They'll swap sizes if they have one in stock, or give you a credit if you want to return it.

Yeah, since I was part of the very first drop, there's nothing in their inventory. Hopefully as people get their jackets, someone will want to swap!

So I received my two grab bags today....stupid question, how do you find out the model of the shirt  and denim?

The number on the little paper tag - I got the American Sixteener and the Dark.

Just figured that out. Got the Sixteener too, as well as the Blue Rust flannel shirt.

Awesome. Sixteener would be the one that I would want. Nice pickup

The 16ers are a nice pair! I got them back in the March Grab Bag and I have 33 days of wear in them.

Just curious, anybody here have their loomstates and have any current fit/fade pics?
