That was my experience with the Okayama.  I only got the top button done, but not the others.  It only took hours for the stretch to be comfortable, and 2 days, 1 soak, hang, wore damp, and now they fit as if made to measure.   I love them.

Looking for a better home, size 36 Green Weft straights.

Can someone speak to fades and weight?  Is there a correlation?

Also, does more "slubby" character impact fades?

Interestingly enough, I do enjoy nice fades and I think people are having fun working out their personal fades and going long times between washings, and so on, but I've found that I want to wash my pants every few weeks.  Perhaps I am too old to change ,but some of the pictures of great fades look like the jeans are...

not clean.

Everyone and his mother says "don't wash for 6 months!" but I have found that it just isn't me.  I'm having fun breaking in jeans, and fades are starting, but I just gotta do the wash.  I don't use a dryer, anyway, due to what it does to clothing in general, but the only change for me is the washing of the Gustins inside out.

Has anyone who backed the waxed chore coat in charcoal got a shipping notification yet? I'm still waiting on mine and was just curious.

Looking to purchase my first pair of Gustins.

How do the straight fit compared to seven jeans?  Size 29 for 7FAM fit me very well. 7fam states their size 29  waist is 29.5"  and Gustin's size chart states the same size 29 is 29.5 inches.

Anyone with experience of both jeans.  Does the size 29 gustin fit like size 29 7FAM?  Thanks.

Downtown Browns are at my mailbox.. need to go grab them.. anyone have pics in the wild?

So that makes my recent grabs: Grey Silk, Naturals, Oxblood, Downtown Brown, and still have a brown duffel and Horween CXL belt in production.

And with that collection, I have my Okayama Standards and Japan Thirteeners (originally backed American Sixteeners but had to send back)

Haven't pulled the trigger on the Chino's yet... has anyone got them in yet and what are your thoughts/opinions on them?

I don't have any 7FAM, but you should definitely measure your current jeans, since they may differ from 7FAM's size guide. Then choose Gustin jeans that are 1" smaller in the waist, to account for stretch during break-in.

Whoa! I backed the blueXblack the first week of May and I just got my shipping notification! They were listed as expected to ship in July! I'm really excited that they are coming so early. But honestly, I wish I would get my ship notice for my Zims already....

Haha don't worry man, you'll get it soon.

I've been freaking out since May 1st waiting for my Zimbs, which are my first pair, and I finally got the shipping notification yesterday. I cannot wait.

I'm interested in the brown trucker too :/ However, any chance of it being closer in design to the classic type III with lines running down to the hems from the breast pockets? The third patch pocket kind is kind of unnecessary... if that makes sense...

God bless these guys for starting short sleeve shirts. I'll be ordering the chambray tomorrow.

No offense to brands like Rogue Territory and such but $200 for a SS chambray is simply too high for me.

The RgT shirt is not really comparable to the Gustin short sleeve. It is slimmer, has a flat bottom and the stitching is high quality.
I really wish they had redesigned the scoops for the short sleeve model. It's a miss on my books.

Yeah, the scoops are preventing me from ever getting their shirts.

That, and the fact that their XXL size is really XL. No Gustin for the larger guy. It's really too bad. I love their stuff.
