Gustin - Official Affiliate Thread - Page 13

So, this is the proof that I've won some Gustin jawnzzz last night.

See that is me, and the Gustin guy (I think Cody or Corry, sorry dude...), and those are my spanking new jawnzzz!!! :inlove:

Ok, so I am not a huge jean guy, i own three pairs of LVCs that I picked up from a flash sale, but wouldn't mind a couple more pair.  One pair that caught my eye too late was the rainbow nep, any chance that is coming back in?

Also, some of the flannels you have posted look pretty cool.  Do you plan on offering the red rust flannel again?

Lastly, are these Sweatshirts expected soon, or further down the road?  I usually wear sweaters but recently have decided that a couple of comfortable sweatshirts for the weekend would be a good investment... and the shots of your's look fantastic!

And just read this on the gusting blog, which makes me even more excited about the shirts!

As for the details, they’re all there - mother-of-pearl buttons, two-piece placket, third collar button on the back, and a locker loop above the rear box pleat. The collar also has that lovely “roll” that everyone is so crazy about due to the super-light lining and lack of fusing (the cuffs are unfused as well).

We may have actually scored a bit more of the Rainbow Neps fabric so keep an eye out. Should also have more flannels on the way. The Red Rust was very limited in availability but we'll have more options. Finally, we're really close on the sweatshirts. Just dialing in a few last things. Hopefully launching within the next month.

Thanks.

Are the rest of the Late Oct/Early Nov. Rainbows going out soon?  Hoping to get my first pair for sizing purposes before committing to the "To Be Released Imminently" Loomstates (And just generally excited to get my first pair)...

Glad I found this thread. I have a pair of the Rainbow Neps and love 'em! The fit (slim fit) and finish is very nice (comparing to a pair of unbranded.. wow there is a noticeable difference in quality) Currently waiting on two shirts (grey ember and selvedge chambray) and two more jeans (american and raw umber)... can't wait for the sweaters! :) (well, maybe I could.. wallet is shrinking)

C'mon guys. Isn't it a little unfair to expect Gustin to be all things to all people in their first year in existence? As a counterpoint I wish they'd stick with nothing but jeans for now until they can streamline and quicken the process from fabric offering to product delivery.

One thing people have railed against Kickstarters like Gustin originally was was the lack of individuality or creativeness in product offering. But look at what Gustin has done with Jeans in the last six months. Rainbow Nep? Grey Silk? Super Heavy Slub? Natural? Raw umber? They've brought us American Cone Selvedge, Japanese Selvedge and even Italian. My word; one can become a selvedge collector with just Gustin if they weren't careful enough.

I know I bought the American, waited for it to arrive and was thrilled with what I got. Last week I was one of the lucky ones to pounce on the Grey Silk. And now those Rainbow Neps are back up.....

That's my long-winded way to say "Patience Daniel-son." smile.gif

We're far along on a chino. I actually tried on our latest sample this week and am finally really pleased with where the fit is. We're exploring a bunch of fabric options. Definitely going to do some great twills but maybe also experiment with canvas.
