I should know my "Gustin size" soon.  I won a pair on ebay and was hoping the seller would ship soon, but he hasn't.  Its coming from CA to ME so that will add a week to it.  I was hoping for fast shipping as I am excited about the jeans, but especially about knowing my size.  As the very heavy pair were backed in 14 minutes I'm hoping to get get the correct size when Gustin puts them up for backing again.

I can see myself getting addicted...

Mine haven't shipped yet. They're running out of April. At this rate I may get my items with a May ship date at the same time or first. Oh well, they'll get here eventually I suppose.

This may seem like a silly question, but I believe I'm an XS in your shirt size, and I'm not sure if I'm an XS in the chore coat size since the chore coat chest size and center back length is smaller than for the shirts.

If I buy an XS in your shirt size, would you recommend XS for the chore coat as well?

Just found out my duffel is not going to ship till May now. I understand it but am frustrated by the delays on these as I likely would have bought a different bag had I known it would take this long

Just received the Japan Blue Oxford....good quality and as described on the site.  I wish it was just a little longer since my T-shirt sticks out of the bottom.  I'll have to tuck in my T-shirt or wear sans T-shirt to make it work.  I received it in less than 2 weeks, which was way better than expected.  It's a nice, heavy (but not too much so) fabric with a good tailored fit.  The color is a nice compliment to darker denim.  I'm satisfied with it.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Looks great, and I just backed it. Quick sizing questions - I wear an L in the shirts because I need the extra sleeve and body length. The shoulders fit well, probably toward the outer edge of where I like the seams to hit, but it's pretty boxy through the body.

a) Would you recommend an M or an L?

b) Is it relatively straightforward to have a tailor take it in at the waist if I want it slimmed down?

Thanks in advance.

I agree, I love the shirts and the fabric quality is fantastic, just wish they were a little longer, or didn't "swoop" up so high on the sides.

I rarely wear button down shirts tucked in.  I like high scoops on the side.

Yea...it's interesting...I looked at the measurements for everything but never even considered the shirt will be too short, especially on the sides as you point out.  Of all the problems I've had with shirts, length never seemed to be one of them, especially in XL size.  I'm 6'1, so it's not like I'm a giant or anything.  I would not have tucked this in anyway, but I do with it had just a bit more length so I could comfortably wear an untucked Tee beneath it to keep it as casual and comfortable as possible.

I would probably go L so you make sure the sleeves and body are roughly where you need them. You can take it but you can't add so it's probably a safer bet. I wear small shirts and also small jackets.
