What size Gustin jeans do you wear?

Those are Gustin Japan Thirteeners, 33 straight. They start tight, but not really difficult to button. . Tight in the waist, seat and thighs too. I'm a crossfitter, so I squat a lot and I have fairly large quads. The jeans have stretched out to be very comfortable.

Missed the indigo/indigo jeans. I should really just jump on those instead of sleeping on it.

based on my measurements that is the same size I would be!

My only concern with the straights is that they would be too wide/big below the knee--I have chicken calves. How are they for you?

I don't think they are bad. They are not as wide at any point in the leg as the 501s they replaced, even though the opening at the bottom is very close to the same size. They are plenty slim for my taste.

Edited to add photo. This is the leg of my 33 straight on top of my 501 STF, size 34/36.

Looks like the #109 Cerulean Broken Twill should make funding in the next few days. The denim just looks like it should get some awesome character as it wears! I had to back them.

I just backed a Gustin shirt....hopefully the large fits alright.  I purchased a medium last year and given my build (6ft, 170lbs, athletic-ish) the medium was far too tight.

I also backed the latest run of the Okayama Standards.....can't wait :D

I'm about the same. 6 ft, 165-172, athletic-ish (on the thin side). I also ordered the large. I hope it isn't too long, but we'll see.

I'm similar build and have two Gustin shirts (one flannel one Oxford). Large is the right size, particularly if you have broad shoulders.

The body of the is cut slim so a large will not be baggy. It's also not cut long in the body, if anything maybe a hair too short in the body.

Sleeve length is pretty long, so depending on your arm length this could be an issue, but the long and on Gustin shirts are perfect for me.

@joshgustin you have any update on when the chinos will be offered and what kind of cut/s you will be doing?

Hi guys, I'm waiting on my first pair of Gustins (first pair of nice raw denim jeans).  And i'm kind of agonizing about fit.  I like Levi's 514, and wear 34x32 or 33x32.  i like their low rise, tight-ish hips and seat.  I think my preferred size and fit for Gustins would be 34 slim.  if only....  my problem with almost all jeans is that i like a slim fit but i have really really big calves, and anything less than 16 inches at the knee is skin tight.  I'd be golden if Gustin made a fit that was "slim top - straight bottom".  Any sizing advice you all can give me would be SO appreciated.

I don't think their slim is all that slim, more like a slim straight imo.

I'm just going off the measurements on their website.  I just measured my calves, 17-5/8" at their largest point.  Like I said, big big calves.

The slim is tapered so I wouldn't call it straight. I think it is slim but not skinny. Except for me it is skinny in size 31 and slim in size 32.

Shooting for this month. We'll have a slim and straight option. This is a totally new fit but if you wear our slim fit denim you'd like our slim fit chino.

Those chinos are going to be awesome. Also that dyed light brown/mustard denim you posted on instagram? That would make an amazing twill pair of pants/jeans (and I could get away with wearing them to the office too!)
