Got the 18 oz japanese super heavy in my grab bag! Beautiful fabric. Thanks Gustin!

Unfortunately I love in hot humid Florida.

If anyone ordered a 31 slim in the grab bag and doesn't want/like it, shoot me a message. I'm really not picky.

I see another Grab Bag just started. Nothing left in my size, so I'm out for this one. I just got my jeans from the last Grab Bag, American Sixteeners! NICE!!

Totally agreed. It seems like an excuse to play at the beach in denim. IDK about you guys but I don't like frolicking in wet pants.

I backed the Blue Steel Selvedge Chambray in XS Slim and should be arriving soon. I'm probably not going to keep it so if anyone wants it (those who are backing it now) just PM me.

Hmm, couldn't wait and ordered a grab bag. Maybe I'll get the one filled with all my hopes and dreams. Also got in on the last red selvedged chambray. Now if only the olive waxed canvas bag would come back biggrin.gif.

Just got the bifold wallet in natural Chromexcel in the mail. Not particularly thrilled with it.

Pictures and words tomorrow.

Hi, can somebody with 33W Straight cut say how inches or cm is backrise?

Allen,

I'm not exactly sure how to measure the backrise, so take this for what it's worth. I have a pair of American Classics in 33 Straight. If I lay the jeans flat with the button fly facing up, I get 11" rise in the front. If I leave the jeans in the same position and measure to the top of the rear waistband, I get 14".

Thanks, are you soak/wash them?

I just measured them like you did in your photo, and it is 14". I'm not a hardcore denimhead, so I just throw all my raw denim in a cold wash as soon as I get them, so these have had one cold wash, and a few wears after that. I measured the front rise before I washed them, and it shrank 1/2" at most, more like 1/4", so I would say the same would hold true for the rear rise.
