Yes, they'll stretch out, luckily!

But every time you wash them, you'll suffer to break them in again!

Make sure you order the 23oz Gustins in a loose enough size smile.gif

Don't know how I'm going to keep my denim ban at all..

I'm still waiting on 2 pairs to be shipped and I keep finding myself surfing for more jeans!!!

First I said I'd stop at 8, when the 2 N and F pairs wore out..suddenly I'm up to 11, with a wishlist of both sale and new collection jeans!

I think I'm a denim addict - just wish there was a cure

If I was let loose in 3x1 bespoke department I'd probably design the most expensive jeans ever designed!!(currently held by Jennifer Lopez, who " designed" a pair with a 17ct diamond top button for $2m!)

Unfortunately I think if I had the $$$ I could probably top that with the rarest Japanese handwoven unique Selvedge denims( and diamond buttons and stud rivets etc)

The bespoke jeans I had made this year in Savile Row cost more than the mink/shearling biker jacket I bought on eBay!!

I'm a denim lost cause..and I promised my boyfriend no more until next year!!!smile.gif

Yeah, I don't wash my jeans very often. I usually just soak them once in a few months and hang dry them. Afterwards, I'll wear them for a few days to stretch them out.

If I had all the money in the world I would design my own jeans, too. But I won't use anything too crazy. I'll prolly use hemp threads or something really strong. I would like to make a pair of jeans that's around 30 oz with a big fat leather patch, with some crazy details.

Do you have pictures and details of that Savile Row bespoke jeans? That sounds so cool!

Hopefully then your IH will stretch out to the right size then!

I'll check for some pics of the Savile Row pair and where they used the Selvedge..

Wow! How much did you pay for those and which tailor did you end up going with? Can you describe what the process for getting a pair of bespoke jeans made at Savile Row?

So, in order for me to stretch out my IH, I stuffed it with 6 pairs of jeans and a t shirt...I'm gonna leave it like that until it's cold enough to wear 21 oz. jeans. lol

Good luck with stretching out the IH - my 21oz pair were taken in when the outer seams frayed and are now so tight after washing I can barely get them on - hopefully they won't need washing for ages because they're so hard to stretch back out again

I've used 2 different Savile Row tailors..

Basically they take every measurement possible, and those of your fave jeans

Then you choose denim, stitching , hardware etc

They make a canvas toile for the first fitting, the second fitting is the actual jeans themselves..

It's a great experience, but Very Very expensive, and although I had another pair lined up, I can't really afford them so I'll try to wear out some of my other jeans before I commit myself..smile.gif

Dockers sound great too, although I don't wear khaki because of my ill, yellowish complexion.:-(

Don't forget to post a pic of them - I'd especially love to see the Levi's - I spent my teens in bleached Levi's, my 30s in Diesel, then into Jap or custom, currently a 3x1 fan, although they're not exactly cheap..have spent too much on denim in 2014...

Great collection - lucky you - are you going to list them?

Don't think I'll ever have 30 unless I fatten up enough to buy off the peg and can raid TKMAXX!smile.gif

Hirsh my darling hope all is going well!

The jeans I bought are these: http://www.levi.com/FI/en_GB/men-jeans/p/045111331

For some reason I love light gray jeans with fade marks, yet I hate them on indigo jeans. tounge.gif

The majority of my jeans collection are Levi's. biggrin.gif

Actually I spent yesterday in bed and mom nearly had to call the doctor out - felt like death, feel slightly better this morning..

Your grey Levi's are gorgeous!!

I used to live in bleached acid wash (blue) mainly Diesel, so they didn't last very long considering how much I spent on them, but I still love the marble look..

I tried to persuade my boyfriend that it was grey or blue acid wash jeans I wanted on"payday!", but he's convinced himself I need denim Hotpants!!!

And has offered me a pair when he gets paid!
I hope they've sold out of small sizes!!!!

What on earth would make me wear shorts when I've got legs like twigs!!!smile.gif?
Do they count in my jeans line up?
I've already found some 3sixteens I like...so much for this denim ban (started when last jeans ordered on 24th July)
Will not mention Hotpants to him again and hope he forgets!!!!!!!smile.gifsmile.gifbiggrin.gif

That sucks so bad. frown.gif But I'm glad to see you posting! smile.gif

I love shorts! I think I own around 12 pairs. All flat fronts.

You crack me up@twig legs biggrin.gif

I don't think they qualify as a count in your jean collection...you know since they are uh...shorts hehe.

Maybe you could start a shorts collection. biggrin.gif

Shame you're not a size 23" waist - I could sell them to you - Hahahaha!!!

Trying to persuade the boyfriend that shorts are not for me...and hinted at some jeans for the 12th pair - but don't know if he'll bite

He likes the idea of Hotpants, and as the ones he likes ARE denim, they do count :-(

And I have another kidney infection :-( :-(

But even if he buys me denim shorts instead of jeans, my ban is only that once 2 pairs are worn out I can have 1 new pair....so I'm currently only rotating 2 pairs - my PBJ 1069-2-PP purple faces and my 3x1 Biker jeans...if I live in these 2 pairs eventually I'll go through the knees - I always do, even with 21oz denim (!)- mum says I must have spiked knees as I've done this since my first pair when I was 11!

Just hope the jeans I want are still available by then - small sizes either get snapped immediately or left behind and end up on sale!

Can't see how I can wear out denim shorts though!smile.gif

Great news- pairs no10 and 11 being shipped at the end of next week!

Last pair depends on whether my boyfriend buys me Hotpants or jeans!smile.gif

Hahaha!!!

Love your new avatar - maybe I'll change mine..I'll see if I've got any pics stored that would look good!

Good news - boyfriend agreed in principle to jeans as autumn is coming so I'd never wear the shorts

Bad news - he claims he's only been part paid:-(

Hopefully he'll sort this out this week and order my 12th pair:)
